Organic Spirulina Powder, Nutrient Dense Superfood (8oz)

This spirulina powder is excellent quality and mixes well into smoothies and drinks. One of the best things about it is that it doesn’t have a strong fishy taste or smell like some other brands. The flavor is very mild, making it easy to drink every day. I’m very happy with this product and would definitely buy it again.

An exceptionally good product for getting a green color for food consumption. I have used this powder already. When used, about a teaspoon mixed with your food item, the color gets a dark green hue like blanched spinach. There is a faint fishy scent from spirulina; however, a savvy baker would know to mask the spirulina scent with organic vanilla powder.

I guess, according to web, some people like the flavor. I do not and i added it to a smoothy which made me dislike the smoothy. So i put it in a jar shake with water amd drink it as fast as i can. It has an ocean taste, not fishy. But it reminds me of the way the beach smells. Not horrible , but i always have another beverage waiting to take away the flavor. I drink it because it makes me feel better. I feel more alert and have less brain fog. I feel energized and stronger, which are all good things for some one over 6o to feel! I drink it daily.

Does what it says it’s supposed to. You have to use quite a bit to get the health benefits so I’m working my way up to that. Does have a slight taste, but nothing unpleasant.

I keep this in the cupboard and use to mix in smoothies, and baking!! Great for adding high level nutrients.
