It works, that's about the best I can say about it.
This item was disappointing from the opening of the package. The wood handle was loose, and pulled off the item upon opening the package. On the first use, the side against the range coil appeared blackened and burnt. I have used it weekly for a few months, and it does function, which is it's only saving grace. Generally, it's not a good buy.
