You can't really go wrong with a classic pair of Quiksilver boardies. The 15-inch length is spot-on if you prefer a shorter, more athletic fit that doesn't bunch up around your knees when you're swimming or moving around. The fabric is lightweight but tough, and it features a proper water-repellent coating that means they dry out incredibly fast once you step out of the water. Beware of drawstring issue
I really liked these shirts, especially when I picked them up for £13.50.. but after a few uses, one of the drawstrings started to untwine! I hoped I could get a like for like replacement but could only get a refund - shame :/
