Excellent for thickening jams and chutneys. Initially I added the pectin to the pan of fruit, but I could see the white powder as it hadn't dissolved and was in lumps. Second time around I tried to mix it with water, but this became very thick almost like glue. Which meant I had to get a stick blender to make it smooth. Third time, I added it to a quarter of the amount of sugar before adding to the pan of fruit which worked well. When added to the pan of fruit it dissolved really well and thickened the jam. If directions were added to the tub then that would be useful. Having said all of this I will be purchasing again when needed.

Great product and very easy to work with. I use it quite often and the desserts come out delicious every time.

Dry good for making jams

I have had this product before , and it works wonders I would advice anybody to get some and help their jams be less runny

Never tried adding pectin separately before and slightly nervous but as my rhubarb and ginger jam was still soft after 48 hrs I had to do something. With the help of ai and the instructions on the pack I managed to obtain a perfect result. I might try putting g in at the beginning next time

Does what it says

No ingredients. I just went for it cos my rhubarb plant really took off an I'd never made jam b4 but Wow... Pectin is amazing. I used about a dessert spoon full into already boiling rhubarb and it turned out like a Dream. Sweet and delicious.

It does the job but has an unpleasant after taste unfortunately.

I make jams for a local B & B and use this all the time. I have never had a failure and it is very easy to usr.

I baked with it, and and it was perfect! By respecting the amount of product, my creme brulee had a great texture. Perfect for vegan recipes as well.

Erdbeermarmelade war ohne Pektin leicht fest. Habe 0,5 % in Zucker verrührt hinzugegeben. Damit wurde die Marmelade fest. Kann ich empfehlen

Producto defectuoso. La fecha de caducidad no se leía, lo que hubiera dado lugar a un decomiso por las autoridades sanitarias.
