Excellent- would make a nice gift
I think that this would make a very nice housewarming gift, hostess gift or really an anytime gift for anyone who likes to cook. These are premium blends that are fresh and well blended. They're well balanced and very tasty- I've been off the standard for what they are, but in a jacked up tasty way- like each batch's recipe has been teased out of a really great specialty cook. They come in little bags that you have to open to pour into the tin containers. The containers will stick up to the side of the fridge or other metal. They are well labeled. The cats that you pour them to some extent or sprinkle them, but it really depends on the herbs inside. I usually just take the lids off. I do find it helpful to put a few grains of rice into the blend so that they don't get clumpy in a really humid Georgia kitchen like mine. (I just avoid getting any rice in my dish when I'm using them.

Awesome for laying the ground work
These are metal cans with magnets on the bottom, so I can stick them to the side of the refrigerator, stick them on top of each other, sideways or else! How fun, and space saving, if you wanted to. They twist to sprinkle, and I can see reusing these cans. Seasonings from Gustus Vitae have been a hit around the house, with experiments still on going due to the variety of foods they can enhance. So far mostly passing with flying colors, even with a cook who really can’t (me 😅). It does make it so much easier that these seasonings come with flairs of certain food already built into them, so even if you don’t know exactly what all the stuff you need to put into, the basis is already there. Of course, for the advanced chefs, they will want to add their own signature twists, but I don’t have any of those and just relieved that these give such a solid basic to start with, tastes great, and are easy as sticking magnets.

Nice spice blends in handy magnetic tins!
This is the second set of these Gustus Vitae spice blends I've tried - personally I like the flavors in the "Fancy Proteins & Truffled Sides" set better because they seemed more versatile and unique, but these all smell and taste great too! I particularly like the Everything But the Pho blend in this set.The spices all come sealed in plastic bags inside the tins, so you have to pop the lids off each one and dump the spices into the tins. Then pop the lid back on and the lid twists to shake or pour! The magnetic bases didn't seem all that convenient at first, but we ended up slapping them all up on our range hood and it is SO convenient having them up off the counter but still within arms reach right there over the gas range! The ingredients and nutrition information is all clearly listed right on the labels of each tin. These (and all the other spice collections offered by this brand) would make an excellent gift for the foodies in your life!

Seasonings That Can Make Your Homemade Meals Taste Restaurant Quality
Gustus Vitae Everything But The Food Truck Gourmet Seasonings can help make your homemade meals taste restaurant quality. There are four spice blends included in this set. They include Everything But The Burger, Everything But The Fried Chicken, Everything But The Taco, and Everything But The Pho. Each metal container has both a shaker and pour dispenser to choose from and the unique detail of a magnet on its base. The magnet has a strong draw so it stuck effortlessly to my refrigerator and kitchen hood. It is wonderful to have easy access without taking up real estate in the cupboards. The containers are easy to open, slide, and twist. The four containers are stacked on top of one another and wrapped in a bubble wrap when shipped. The spices are placed in a sealed bag within each respective container which keeps it safe during transit and fresh until you open it. Each blend is unique and is very aromatic which inspired me to want to try each one immediately. The majority of the ingredients in each spice blend is familiar and recognizable. The few that I recognized but have never seen in a spice blend included mustard powder, wasabi powder, and mushroom powder. One minor issue I experienced is that certain spice grinds (in two of the cans) were larger than the shaker holes punched in each can. I was able to use the larger pour slot to get these pieces out but it required me to either be more diligent in my spicing or just resign and open the top to grab pinch sized amounts to distribute. Each label includes food images that the specific spice will work ideally with. For example, the label for the Everything But The Fried Chicken includes images of steak, chicken, egg, fish, French fries, mushroom, vegetables, taco, popcorn, and burger. The one main feature that I noticed across all four spice blends is that even though salt is included it isn't overly salty. Each blend can really add a punch of flavor but thankfully the salt doesn't dominate everything. The spices were all vibrant in color and scent. The flavors complimented everything it was applied to. There are countless dishes these seasonings can be added to. There were two seasonings of the group that I feel either missed spices quintessential to the flavor profile or added too many flavors that aren't necessary in the seasoning. The Everything But The Pho Seasoning included garlic, jalapeno, and cinnamon but it did not include star anise, cloves, and black cardamom. These spices are necessary when making a flavorful Pho broth (along with beef bones) or at least when creating a seasoning to connect to Pho. Oddly it included celery seed and all spice. These two seasonings don't belong in Pho. When it came to the Everything But The Taco, it included seasonings like fenugreek, cardamom, nutmeg, celery, and fennel. I didn't think any of these seasonings needed to be included and would not have been missed if they were excluded. The seasonings are Non-GMO Project Verified, MSG Free, Only Natural Ingredients, and Made in the USA. I have tried multiple seasonings from this manufacturer that I love and use regularly, but I feel this was the one set that was good but not great for me.

Love these seasonings
I love all of these seasonings, in this collection you have a little bit of everything and the best part is they can all stick on the side of your fridge cause they have magnets, how cool is that lol. We tried everything but the burger on our hamburgers and wow they really made a difference, they tasted so much better, we couldn’t believe what a difference this seasoning made lol. It really tasted great. We haven’t tried the others yet but I know they are gonna be just as good, these spices are very well made and come in the cutest containers. We can’t wait to try them all. Would highly recommend!!

I love the magnetic containers!
All of these spices smell and taste amazing! They do contain a little sugar, but other than that, no weird preservatives.
