Forward: Discovering God’s Presence and Purpose in Your Tomorrow

I listened to this series during a time of deep depression and it changed my life. It was during Covid outbreak and this book has kept me anchored in my faith. Thank you Pastor Jeremiah! I thank God for you and your ministry.

When I purchased this book, it was with some cautious skepticism. I thought it might be an enjoyable read, with a few valuable “nuggets” about how to mindfully move forward with your life’s calling. I am at the end of this book and my life will never be the same. This has to be one of the most inspirational and anointed text I have read in a long time.You begin the read hungry to learn about your life’s work. You leave hungry to learn more about God. I fully recommend this book for anyone interested in allowing God to shape them AND their life’s work.

In our present world, the Church is experiencing a mega-change approach in how it members view the Bible, morality, service to God and man, prayer, and salvation itself. We all struggle with what lies in the future for us, how do we worship, what do we do with our spiritual gifts, and should we modify our relationship with God to fit comfortably with modern times and processes?It is becoming more acceptable within the Church to practice a reduced moral ethic or code, condone deviancy, accept what was unacceptable once and seek satisfaction, stimulation, and the satiation for spiritual thirst and hunger with theatrical, entertainment, grandiose, and electronic boosting of the Word of God.So much feel good, promises of wealth and health to those who follow the promises of so many televangelists, get rich quick preachers, and give that you might get schemes offer that which simply is not offered in Scripture.Doctor Jeremiah offers sound, Bible-based direction for growing spiritually in this troubled, deceiving world. God is not finished, we are not finished, the Gospel is more than sufficient for the times we live in. If we are bored, if we slumber, if we have become dull, acceptant of sin, and are no longer interested in being light to a dark world, read this book.Perhaps it is time to confess our sins and be filled once again with the Holy Spirit. Read Doctor Jeremiah's words and let them speak to your hungry soul.

This book has really blessed my life, I wish there was a workbook to accompany it.Bless you Pastor Jeremiah for allowing God to use you to stir up the hunger and thirst within us for God.

Dr. Jeremiah is always solid on the Bible. Our small group chose to use this as a study tool. Some were pleased some were perplexed. It seemed that during the pandemic his publisher told Dr. Jeremiah he had to get a book out so he put this together. It seemed on the lame side. As we went along in it, it became clear that, in our opinion, he was directing this more at the non-Christian or brand new Christian. Mature Christians may find lacking at least at first, about half way through it picks up depth and relies more heavily on Biblical truth. He uses Christians and non-Christians in his "real life" examples and some times you're not sure if they are Christian, did they become Christian as a result of their experience? This is a great book for the right person.

This book is great, Im not quite ready yet, but will be.

I learned so much and got so excited about Heaven!! I really enjoyed reading this book and would like to read more from this author!

I buy so many of Dr Jeremiah’s books, for me and for friends. He is a voice of sanity in this out of control world. He will always lead you to closer to GOD. Wish his church were closer, I would love to be in a Philadelphian church!!!

This book is full of wisdom and encouraging us to move forward in our faith to be effective Christians in our community.

This book was a reawakening for me. All encompassing from the need to have a God given dream, to the power of prayer, maintaining focus, taking risks, investing in God's work and finishing. I loved the last chapter on looking forward to heaven. I loved reading this book.

Really enjoyed reading this book helps me understand Bible more.Looking forward to future books by Dr David Jeremiah. Cannot say enough about his books.
