My led light strips are 14mm wide. would they fit in your 12.5 mm channel without damaging the strip?

How is the cover installed? I wanted to channel set this between two walls so it couldn't slide on and off from the ends. Snap in and pry off?

I just went out to the garage to try this on a spare section i have in the garage. Sorry my dude, it is impossible to get it off without at least gripping the end to peel it off, and I am 99/100 sure it is impossible to just press it back on from the top. I gave up trying after 10 minutes or so. Take care.

Will this item create more smoothing or even looking light versus viewing only the individual LED highlights underneath?

Milky white channel cover diffuses the harsh brightness of LED strip lights, spreading out the spottiness of individual LED's, rendering a more uniform light that's easier on the eyes.

Can i just lay the strip lights in the channel and not use the adhesive on the lights? i want to use under base cabinets in my rv.

Technically yes. But only if they were pointing up. But the tape light could shift. Upside down I would not recommend for heat

Best quality LED channels

These LED channels are pretty good. They make my strip lights look much cleaner and help diffuse the light evenly. Easy enough to cut and install. Recommend for a more finished look. Note that there are some hot spots, however.
