I did ALOT of research before we brought our handsome Charlie home. Golden Retriever pup who is destined to be a big boy. So major concerns are hip issues and genetics that tend to leave Goldens a target for cancer. This food addresses both issues and then some! Tons of protein for growing puppy and antioxidants galore and healthy grains to keep him safe from the "C" word. In addition to ingredients to keep his skin an coat shiny and healthy. My vet 100% agreed with my choice.

There is not enough of the freeze dried turkey in this bag to justify the difference in price. I had to search to find the turkey. In the 4 pound bag there is less than a handful. The Wellness Core High Protein with Wholesome Grains is a high quality food so I'm sticking with that for my puppy.

My picky daschund puppy loves the taste and thrives on it. High protein, smart grains, probiotics and other good stuff. Compare ingredients with other puppy foods and you’ll see.
