This small plate is such an ingenious product! As with so many people I'd imagine, years of wear and tear to the kitchen presses have made the doors loose and uneven. Rather than replacing and entire press carcass where the screw holes have become larger or damaged resulting in loose doors, simply unscrew the hinge and insert the screw plate. reattach the hinge and you now have more surface area to add more screws and strengthen the door. These are an extremely affordable way to repair all those loose doors and work perfectly. I would highly recommend buying these repair plates and installing them on all of your presses and cupboards etc. There is 8 plates in this set which would cover 4 doors. An excellent product!

20 year old cabinets with wood doors chipboard frames. This hinge chipboard side came away years ago & I did something makeshift that kind of held badly for 5+ years then failed. This simple item so easy to install is perfect. My repair will certainly hold. Had reservations about square size & my repair not need the large hole - was totally wrong: the size takes much of the load well away from weak areas & who cares what the plate looks like inside seeing the cabinet is once again usable? Very pleased

Plates work well, well package and quick delivery. Great for the cupboard side of the hinge but needed same for door side. That was slightlyt more tricky but got there in the end.

A heavy handed daughter managed to damage all 3 hinges on an ikea wardrobe door. I tried lots of other products to fix it, but none of them were effective. I then stumbled across these brackets, as a last resort before buying a new wardrobe, I thought I’d give them a go. They distribute the weight over a wider area so relieving the stress on the joint. For just over £5 I’ve repaired all 3 hinges and saved a fortune at an expensive time of year. Well recommended product

Great solution, easy to use to repair any type of door. The numerous holes allow you to use it on the cupboard or on the door, or on both, depending on which part has been damaged over the years. Great invention. I highly recommend it.

We moved into a house a year ago and the kitchen is old. Typically the cupboard doors are all falling off. These are a great fix. I’ve been able to open and close doors without them catching on other doors or falling off. They are a great temporary measure whilst we save for the new kitchen. If you are concerned about what the inside of the cupboard looks like they might not be for you because they are a big piece of metal that is ugly. If, like me, you want a quick fix that will last years or just as a short term measure they are for you because they are solid and work well.
