For me, I use it to store 9mm ammunition, but can see it having plenty of space for a few hours at the range - with reasonable tetris skills, this field box can easily fit some (50x) boxes of 9mm, a couple (25x) shotgun shells, a few (50x) boxes of .22, even some magazines. My reasons for buying multiple of these is a) the ease of locking, b) stacking ability, c) sturdiness, d) appropriate size for my uses (allows me to store a good portion of ammunition but not ALL of my ammo, thus I don't need to constantly open a massive ammunition box to get some ammo.

I love this product. really saved for any thing you prefer to store in it. with the key holds for a lock even makes it better to secure it. Worth spending your money on it for sure. Material was quality and the color was just awesome.
