The 20th editions allow you to raise 2 digimons at same time, also the improvements allow you to feed, train, battle them simultaneously so it makes it easier to manage them. Sadly you cant pause these like other iterations theyve released in the past. Basically, even if you put them to sleep manually they'll wake up and poop everywhere, get ill and die if you dont wake up early enough to clear it, feed etc. A silly oversight on Bandai Namcos part in my opinion. If you tend to sleep in a lot your pets will turn into gravestones covered in poop on a regular basis. Regardless they're essentially the same as the original with some additional features so if you like virtual pets/digimon you won't regret it, great for kids and elderly folks as they're the only people awake early enough to effectively keep them alive :D
