Roberts Radio Sports 925 Personal FM/AM - Black

Why did you choose this product over others?: I chose this product as a brand that can be trusted and one that my grandparents used for their radios. I bought it to take to Le Mans 24hr race and to hear Radio Le Mans (English Language) throughout their coverage of the event. The reception and sound quality was excellent, and I took a whole pack of 8 additional AAA batteries as the one thing other reviewers mentioned was short battery life, but I didn’t experience this myself and came back with all 8 batteries unused. If you want a simple radio with headphones this is thoroughly recommended, keep it up Roberts for generations to come!

Amazing sound quality for such a small radio. Easy to tune in & good reception where I live. The area I live in isn't the best for teception but this little radio nails it. It is very well made & feels sturdy. It might cost a bit more than an unbranded radio but I think it's worth it.

Never been disappointed with a Roberts product. This one bought as a replacement for a small Bush one which had done quite well but had to be set up from scratch each time the batteries wore out which was quite often! This Roberts model is an old school non digital one with manual tuning - ok by me. Controls are solid and the design is nice and the speaker has a great sound too. Will probably take with us on holiday as well.

I had one of these for several years till it died and had no hesitation in buying same again. Efficient, easy to use and small enough to take anywhere.
