CAKE DECORATOR'S REVIEW
This is a wonderful spatula. Ateco brand cake decorating products never let me down. This is a sturdy spatula with a thin sharp edge, perfect for icing a flawless cake (...in my line of work that's important!). I agree with all of the other reviews about the label being stuck to this spatula with a super-adhesive glue. As of July 2021, the seller hasn't fixed that problem. I was able to remove all of the glue and label by boiling water on my stove and letting the end of the spatula with the label sit in it for 3-5 minutes. Most of the label peeled off (with some force). I was able to remove the small bit of glue residue by reinserting the end back into the boiling water and rubbing the area in question. Just a couple of minutes, and the label and glue was completely removed. In my "professional" opinion, running it under hot water would take a LOT longer.

Great Quality, Annoying Stickers
I purchased 3 sizes of these and the quality is nice. No sharp edges on the wood handles and the blades are well polished with just enough flex. Made in Japan per the stamp on the blade. The reason they don't get five stars? Each one had a sticker/hang tag on the end of the blade that is maddening to remove. The adhesive is so strong you can easily break a fingernail or two trying to peel off the sticker. I've never dealt with anything like it. You may get the sticker off the blade in one piece being fairly thick, but good luck with the adhesive still stuck to the blade. I used Goof Off to remove it but it took multiple coats to remove all the adhesive followed by hot water and dish soap to remove the solvent. Yo could probably use a sharp scraper to save your fingernails at the risk of scratching up the mirror polish on the blades, I just think there has to be a better way. A lanyard hole in the handle and a loop with a tag would be a great improvement and give a place to hang them up as a bonus!

Why didn't I buy this sooner?
This little tool is handy in my kitchen. I guess I already had a plastic straight slim spatula which I thought was fine, but once I tried using this offset spatula I really don't know why I didn't buy one sooner. Being offset, it prevents getting my knuckles all covered with frosting and batter. It's a clever, well-made little tool and one I intend buy as gifts for my family.

Good enough
This spatula was sturdy yet flexible. However, the angle is not as good as the original ones they made years ago. If you have experience with these spatulas you can tell the bend needs to be greater for best functionality. I miss the old models.

Great Spatula
Just what I needed. That angled blade does the trick.

Very useful!
I love this thing. It's my only offset spatula and though it isn't very wide, it does the job - picking up cookies, smoothing off tops to cakes, picking up casserole squares/dessert bars/corn bread, etc. The metal part is flexible so it's good with that, it's not heavy, and the handle is sturdy. My only concern is that because the handle is wood, it might mold eventually, but so far, so good! I'll tackle that if that ever becomes an issue. In the meantime, I'm very happy with this purchase!

Me encantó!!! Super buena calidad, solo es un poco más grande de lo que yo esperaba (tal vez no leí bien al momento de comprar - la espatula "usable" mide como 20 cm), aún así me la quede, es súper buena!

Perfect for so many things, this offset spatula is sturdy but still slightly springy, making it great for those weird lifting tasks that come up in plating foods including pastry. The wooden handle feels very craftsmanlike and stable.
