My son had a hernia surgery. This robe turned out to be the best clothing he needed in the hospital and during recovery. I am impressed with the quality at such an affordable price. It is well made, cotton blend, good thickness, great design and color. He is 135lbs and size Small fits perfectly. It really looks like an expensive robe. He says it is quite comfortable too. Even though we chose it for a medical purpose, it can be worn regularly too when comfort is needed.

I don't usually write reviews for $20 items, but for this I have to. I ordered this in extra large due to some reviewers saying it runs small. IT DOES NOT. I'm 5 ft 9 in, about 190, with a bit of a midsection. It was HUGE. Returned it and ordered a medium in a different color. Unless the size varies between colors, which is actually kind of common here, they are true to size. All that being said, it is a nice robe. A little heavier than I was expecting, but thin and super soft. I suspect it was so heavy cuz it was so freaking huge. I'm suspecting fat people don't think they're as fat as they are, so when it doesn't fit, they blame the size. Trust me, I've been there, done that. I'll be back with an update once I receive the medium. Update.... So, changed my review from 4 stars to 3. The belt loops are horrible. They're just way too high. The belt is sewn into the robe. I cut the belt off and sewed it together. Much better that way. Also, it needs a button at the top. I sewed one on. It's much better now, but an absolute pain in the butt. Took way too much time. But I like the robe. Also, a small probably would have been perfect. Oh, the pockets are absolutely useless. The belt goes right over them. Horrible design people.

Affordable. Super Soft and comfortable. Not too heavy and not too light - I guess that means it's just right in my book. I can easily recommend this to others.
