It is 600W, as the bottom SQ but the heat element is round around the bottom

Can this be immerced in water?

Unfortunately no this cannot be immersed in water.

Can this be used as a glue pot ? Does it have a tempreture control knob ?

I haven't used it for glue, just for batik wax. It does have a temperature control knob but I've had some trouble regulating the temperature of the wax, because it has to be a specific temperature to work. Maybe just to melt something it might be okay?
