Double Wrap

I have been using BFR as a clinical PT for 10-years and have used all kinds of straps, bands, and wraps. For clinical effectiveness, the bands must compress AND be comfortable enough to workout slowly. These are the best I have found for all patient types. These bands provide adequate restriction safely and comfortably, thereby increasing compliance and overall effectiveness. I have recommended these bands hundreds-of-times and patients love them.

High quality product - the feel of the bands is solid, the velcro is strong and does not touch your skin when wrapped around your leg. The dual velcro design (see their video) is very effective at allowing me to put the bands on and to get them tight enough. I was able to get a very good workout "pump" on my legs using these straps. To try out BFR, I purchased the thin blue straps with white buckles that you can see on Amazon. Those are fine for the arms, but I was unable to get them tight enough for my legs. That is the reason I purchased these BFR Bands, and I am quite happy to have them for my legs.

Ad for product included a video with number marking the bands, so you can be consistent on the pressure you use. The product that arrived did not have any numbers. Also, I was under the impression that these were one-hand operation for tightening. That is not the case. There is an inner layer of compression used by the first half of the band that you need two hands to use. Once attached, you can adjust the outer layer with one hand. The material is fairly stretchy - similar to a medium 40 pound booty band. Have only had them for a day, will need to see how they work out in the gym to see if they're any good. So after a chance to use them in the gym, I wanted to give a quick update. The double wrap makes it easy to adjust the position -- do one wrap, adjust it to the right location, then apply the second wrap. It also means it takes longer to put on/off. The elasticity is a concern -- seems like it would stretch out after repeated use. The recommended usage is 40% of your 1-rep-max and do sets of 30/15/15. For exercises like hip-thrust, I know what my 1RM is and 30/15/15 at 40% is about at the right max effort. But for an activity like back extension or RDL, I have no idea what my 1RM is because I don't want to hurt my back. The stretchiness of the bands means I'm probably not restricting my blood flow that much, and those exercises seem too easy.

I work out six days a week on average I ordered these, not knowing what to expect as far as the quality Or the value for money However, I was quite pleased, the thickness and the durability and the fit was not disappointing. They’re definitely very thigh, friendly for my girls that may have the Thicker thighs. And what I love about him, you have the ability to adjust to your liking . And they’re very stable. They do come with instructions for first time users so definitely worth the value.. The stability is very strong. I feel like they’re gonna last me a long time. Definitely will enhance your glut, An overall lower body workouts.. Five stars

Super high quality product (I mean, professional quality..), super knowledgeable seller, super fast shipping. These bands will work as good as your knowledge of them lets them work. If they don't work, it's your fault for not being educated. The seller is highly qualified and has created a LOT of documentation on how to use them and how to develop yourself with them. The seller will also email you a week after purchase to check in on you, and he will carry on a conversation and reply VERY quickly. A++++++ product. The wraps are high quality, the Velcro is high quality, they are comfortable (well, as comfortable as you can expect what is in essence a tourniquet to be...).

This is a great band and I really wanted to be able to love it. It is wide, with thick material and the perfect amount of stretch. It has a strong metal loop. Wrapping is easy and it feels tight. Velcro works. The only issue, which is a big one, is that if you don't line the velcro tabs up perfectly, the "A" side of the velcro will attach to the band material itself (where there are gaps between the "B" side of the velcro), and damage the band. So you have to have the perfect thigh width to be able to use these without destroying them pretty quickly.

I was skeptical - sounded like bro-science. Used them and amazing pump as expected but also muscle soreness that I think will lead to hypertrophy. Just starting to use them so I can't plot any changes but I believe this is a good way to mix it up and is ideal for bad joints because you can lift lighter and get a good workout. Feels weird stressing on the light weights though. Product quality is good as expected.

I really like the dual velcro closure, easy to adjust while using. BUT I just left a one star for the company’s arm bands that don't use this closure system.
