Decent FF Stories
I'd give the stories themselves 7/10. Not the best FF stories I've read, but definitely not terrible. If you've never read FF before and were looking for a good introduction to all the characters and what the gist of it is... I don't think I'd recommend this book as the best starting off point. The first arc is a simple, but pretty fun action-in-space story that I really enjoy reading in FF comics.I think the Wedding issue will be insignificant to someone who is unfamiliar with the characters, but I thought it was nice. The following arc had an interesting premise, but would benefit from some more fleshing out, it seemed a bit rushed for something of such a large scale. After that are a couple issues that are Franklin and Valeria-centric. I liked these even though I've never been a big fan of either of the kids. What I disliked:The issues flip-flop between art styles so frequently which is very disorientating for me personally. I'd prefer to have one author and artist, I think it helps me get more engrossed in the story when things don't look so drastically different from issue-to-issue.I really enjoyed Sara Pichelli's artwork, especially her ability to capture expressions. The colorist just hit the mark perfectly for me. Her issues really popped visually and I was left wanting more.Overall, 7.75/10 seems fair for the whole book. Minus 2.25 points for inconsistent artwork, sometimes confusing panel layouts, and some pacing issues.
