I work on boats a lot in a saltwater environment so having a durable backpack that is actually waterproof is really important to me. This backpack has filled every expectation. It is the perfect size. Material is durable and sturdy. And best part, it is actually waterproof. I (indirectly) tested it when my bag fell of the dock and landed in the water. Good news, bag floated and all my stuff inside was dry. All was need was to wipe the salt water off the outside. If you work on boats or just spend a lot of time around the water, I highly recommend this bag. I have had it for FOUR YEARS and it shows little wear and tear with minimal degradation in material quality. Highly recommended.

I went on an expedition trip where keeping my things dry was a necessity. This bag is well made and sturdy, fully waterproof in rain and heavy waves out boating (not sure if you could submerge it, didn’t try). It holds a lot, has exterior pockets and lacing to hold additional items, and is comfortable to carry. Two thumbs up!! One additional bonus: fully loaded, this fits into airplane overhead compartments as a carry-on bag.

I bought the FE Active Waterproof Backpack exclusively for The Narrows hike at Zion National Park. It survived the 5 hours in and the 5 hours back, and there were some points where I was submerged in water up to my shoulders. We even clipped it to our tube the next day as we floated down the Virgin River. I never found a drop of water inside. As long as you follow the simple instructions that are included, you're golden. Golden dry. I like the fact that its IPX8-rated, that gave me confidence when buying. The padded shoulder straps and back support are comfortable, there's plenty of room with 30L of storage and the carrying handle and two side mesh net pockets were very useful. More compartments on the inside would have been great, but that's not a complaint - more of a suggestion. My only real complaint is that the threading on the underside of the backpack started to come undone and shriveled up. If I could get a replacement, that would be great.

I haven’t Gotten much of a chance to use this product yet but I could tell immediately right when I received it and opened the packaging that this product definitely has some good quality to it I was able to tell just by feeling it and it is pretty light weight but also you can tell that the material is a thick heavy duty rain coat type of material it will definitely repel water I will update this review If the product doesn’t live up to this review. I am pretty much strictly using this product with Boating I bring all my necessities in a bag. usually I use a backpack but if I put it down in wet places the water seeps through So I am sure this product will be fine for that I have not been able to test it in heavy water conditions just yet but It seems very user-friendly and easy to close up when you want to close it and the quality I can tell is definitely on the better side

Hi, my name is Nguyen I am a student and this is my first time buying a waterproof backpack. The reason why I decided to purchase this item because my last bag when it rains outside in Texas it got really wet inside and out and all my stuff got ruin. Now after doing some researching on the waterproof backpack it was a no brainer so I went online through Amazon and buy me the backpack. This item was not cheap it almost over 40 dollars as a student that a lot but it worth every penny of it. I hope the waterproof backpack will last a long time to come without needing to replace it. Also, the backpack was very roomy from within the inside I can fit so much stuff in it for school and much more without being too heavy with this backpack even when I have all my items in it still feels great when carrying it for a long period of time. I would recommend it for others to try it out like I have and will not regret the purchase of the waterproof backpack.

I’ve had this bag since September 2019. It’s honestly indestructible if you take proper care of it. It’s held up quite nicely as I use it everyday. In Alaska, my working location is 75% rain. It does it’s job. I can carry anything I want inside and what’s surprising is I can fit all my groceries inside (60+ lbs). It’s fallen into the copper river and nothing got wet. I’ll walk two miles + to and from the grocery to home and I cannot ask for a better bag. I even use this one over my Osprey. Because it’s comfy and keeps everything safe. This is so worth it! Durability. Appearance. I get compliments all the time. Great bag. Wish it was wider slightly and with just one more pocket of a bigger size on the inside. Other than that I’ll be buying this same one should anything happen to my current one.

I brought this to Costa Rica to keep my electronics (camera) protected in case of rain while hiking and observing animals in the rain forest. I also took it on a boating trip during which time it rained significantly. No issues with anything inside getting wet at all. This is a very well-made backpack despite the price. Also, having the outer mesh pockets and drawstring area was very helpful. The straps and back padding make it more comfortable. Please note, similar to other dry bags on the market, there is only one LARGE pocket on the inside of the back---it is not separated into different pockets or compartments. Given it's size (it holds a lot), and dark color, it was sometimes tricky to locate items inside unless I shined a light inside while looking. I wish it had different compartments separated inside to make things easier to keep organized and find quickly, but I'm not going to fault it for that as that's not how dry bags seem to be designed. I would recommend this one for sure, but make sure to get a bag organizer to create compartments for the inside to help you find things more quickly.

I am a wilderness guide in Alaska and have used this bag for about a year of work and play. The bottom line: it keeps your stuff dry and it's not nearly as expensive as similar products on the market, so you're certainly getting your value worth. Conversely, if you put wet things into this bag, it will keep them wet. I'm holding off on giving this bag 5 stars for a few reasons though. The waterproof material has begun to fray in various places which makes me believe that it might not last me more than another year or so. One of the plastic adjusters for the drawstring water bottle pouches broke off within the first month of owning this bag. Also, the waist strap just isn't large enough to go around anybody of reasonable size, because I'm not a huge dude, and it doesn't make it all the way around me without considerable constriction. Regardless, this is likely the best value bag on the market, because you're going to see three digits for prices for anything from Sea to Summit/Marmot/North Face/Arcteryx or anything like that.

Used as a holiday backpack for places where sudden downpours occur to carry photo equipment and day hike sundries. Worked well with no leaks even when wading in deep mountain pools. Big enough for day hike bits such as camera, swimming gear, passport, money lunch and water bottles. Inside zip pocket was useful for small bits like money phone and passport. Straps where comfortable and the ability to either close by folding 3/4 times and clip to either sides or in the more traditional back on self style meant capacity could be maximised or used with a much smaller load without affecting waterproof capabilities. Will be using in UK as well as future holidays as is useful for UK weather and/or in areas where water is at risk of seeping into your bag and damaging contents (cameras in my case). Obviously you will need to be aware of note using bag for sharp objects and making sure you don’t rub over external objects such as barnacles etc to the point that the material gets holes in. Always check for damage before trips as over time I am sure accidental holes will occur but initial condition and material, if bag is closed correctly, has been totally waterproof.

Ich habe den Rucksack für das Getring tough -race 2023 gekauft. 24km durch Matsch, Schnee, Eis und Wasser. Mit Hinternissen und Hängenbleiben. Das Teil wurde geschunden, über den Boden geschleift, als Schwimmhilfe genutzt und ist auch öfter mal irgendwo hängengeblieben. Fazit: Absolut wasserdicht, Autoschlüssel heil geblieben und sehr angenehm zu tragen. Vielleicht könnte ein Bauchgurt nochmal Pluspunkte bringen. Klare Empfehlung, vor Allem für das Geld!

La compré para rutas por la montaña o barrancos con pozas y ríos, aun no me ha hecho falta probarla poniéndola sobre el agua pero el sistema de cierre se ve suficiente para que no entre agua. Me la llevé para el camino de Santiago y pude llevar cómodamente 7 kilos durante 7 días y luego volví en avión y no hubo ningún problema para subirla como equipaje de mano. Muy buena mochila.
