Crazy Aaron Thinking Putty, Twilight, 2'' L, Hyper Color

I am someone who fidgets frequently to cope with anxiety/OCD, and I was encouraged to try different fidgeting tools to avoid picking my skin / pulling my hair. This putty is AWESOME. It changes colors as it warms up in your hand (both colors are BEAUTIFUL), and its the perfect size to fit discreetly in your hand or pocket. Some people were concerned that the amount of putty you’re given is too small, but I find it to be the perfect amount to keep one or two hands busy while in class or at work. Its a fairly stiff putty, but it isnt sticky in your hand and won’t leave a residue. I like the stiffness of it, personally, because it allows me to keep my hands busy and relieve stresss. I love this putty and I plan on carrying it with me in my bag for when my anxiety hits during class!

It is a good fidget item, and really helps me with my joint pain from Lupus. I have been looking for something to work my hand joints and I use this because it can be cooled down and is still squishy. Using it right out of the freezer is amazing on my joints and helps with the swelling in my hands. It doesn't really change colors, but that's not a huge concern of mine. It's great to help me loosen my hands before I start to work on my computer or before I start to crochet/knit. I also like to play with it while I'm working to help with focus.

It's great putty, but it comes in a very tiny tin.

My daughter bought this with her allowance, apparently it's the newest craze at recess. I was skeptical, but it is actually pretty neat, the color changes well when you put it in the fridge and it can be used as a toy as well as a fidget/ stress ball without making annoying noises like the fidget spinner. These small tins are a great size to carry in your pocket, too.

Neither the product picture nor product description has the word "MINI", yet the product we received has "MINI" printed on the container. It's VERY small. You can see the photo I've attached to this review. My daughter bought this with money she saved. She bought it based on the photo. She's disappointed to say the least. I hope the seller will try and make it right for her as well as update their product description and photo so that it accurately reflects the product they ship. I feel like I wasted my money on glorified silly putty. The color didn't change at all, and it was a completely different shade of blue than advertised. The picture is also deceiving making the tin look twice as big. The putty itself was okay, but the amount was not worth $10.00. I recommend buying a bigger tin.

if your name is not Aaron and you are not a thinker this is NOT FOR YOU. please close this page. if you ARE an Aaron that thinks, buy and buy often. this is kept at my desk inside a large IT chip-maker campus and its the greatest aid to creativity in the known universe. this putty write code, it tests my production software, and it gets me coffee. best thing ever.

I ordered this for my daughter's birthday. When I ordered it, I thought that it was 2 colors like pictured, I was wrong. It changes color with the heat of your hands. If I knew much about this putty, I would have known that. But my daughter loves it, she will be getting more for Christmas. This is really tough putty.
