A lot of fun for the price!
Purchased this during a limited time sale on Amazon for $20 just to try it out. I figured I wouldn't be wasting too much money if things didn't pan out.First observation while unpacking the unit was that it was a lot smaller than I expected. No big deal, just an observation.Using this solely as a headphone amp, I plugged up one of my cheapest guitars and some cheap earbuds and just turned the thing on without reading a single word in the small instructional pamphlet. I didn't put my guitar down for the next two hours, which is saying a lot compared to a lot of the other inexpensive guitar pedals I have been purchasing recently to soothe my guitar acquisition syndrome. One knob controls modulation effects and appears to sweep from chorus to tremelo. Another knob sweeps from delay to reverb. Another knob allows you to select from multiple types of gain, from a mild overdrive to gnarly fuzz. There are a bunch of different drum beats in there as well and I noodled around on a bunch of them, having a lot of fun in the process. I kept on playing around until some other duties called.Nice thing about a pocket amp like this I was able to turn up the volume without making a sound! My normal solid state rig rocks the house at anything past 4 on the dial. My family will no doubt thank me for investing in this pocket amp.I can't say I know everything about this little device just yet. I have not attempted to use it as a guitar pedal into my main amp. I also have not attempted to run this into an audio interface to see how it will record. I also don't know how long it will last. It is made of plastic. One minor observation from my early experiences, a very tiny movement of the effects knobs results in very big changes in effects.Overall, any effect pedal or piece of gear that gets you playing more and offers you enjoyment is worth it in my book. This, so far, has done that for me.

Nice little headphone amp, sounds good, lots of fun, belt clip is awful
This is a good sounding nice little headphone amp and effects box. It has a headphone out(mini though, you need an adapter for 1/4 inch plugs),an out to the amp, even an line in( with no volume control, you have to use your device), and a rudimentary drum machine, with 40 different beats, you can change tempo and volume for. Don’t loose the instructions though, they are only assigned numbers, in the devices 2 digit display. It also has 16 preset patches, and 16 slots you can save your own patches too(a patch is just a copy of what you set the effects on the box too, at any particular point, if you find a set of settings you like, you can save them)! It has delay, echo, room, and hall(pick one),on one knob, and another know allows you to set Chorus, flanger, phaser, or tremolo,(pick one). And a third selector, clicky switch let’s you set clean, overdrive, distortion, crunch, fuzz, and metal. This is tied into the gain knob. There is also a tone knob. It has a switch also to make it sound like a cabinet, in the headphones, and an master volume knob, and lastly, a standard tune 440 only tuner. The instructions are sparse, and I’m very good with electronics, and it took me some fiddling to figure it out, especially the knob for the tuner, drum machine, and patch selector, as it has multiple functions, and a push switch.I included a picture of the clip, with the shape of the device, and the fact that the clip doesn’t extend down enough, the thing is nearly impossible to clip on. Especially me because I am 40 pounds overweight. Even using two hands, I can’t get it on my waistband. It’s also nearly impossible to clip on a shirt or jacket( which has nothing to do with my waist line). It will make you angry, for sure. I took off an extra ease of use Star, because of it, it’s that awful. Also, a minor quibble, but the clean setting has a lot less volume, than all of the distortion settings, it is especially evident when wearing headphones.

Amazing! Let haters hate
For just $30, this product is incredible! The drums alone make it worth the price—add in the compact form factor, and it’s a steal. The effects are more than decent!!! I’m not sure why there are negative reviews because, for anyone on a budget, this is hands down the best $30 you can spend.

More of a toy than anything useful
What did I expect for $40. I use it as my tuner mostly

Small gadget with big sound
I was amazed how good this effect gadget worked. It had drum beats and is great for taking out to gigs or practice.

This pedal is mediocre at best I wouldn't recommend it !
It's made of plastic and it has little or no drive or volume I'm highly disappointed
