This book gives a good picture of the sorts of places that once graced the inner bluegrass while admitting that growth is necessary. I enjoyed reading about places I knew and ones that were lost long before I came along.

Detailed history. My dad loved it!!!

As someone fascinated with Lexington history, I thoroughly enjoyed this book and would recommend it to others. Here's hoping there's a sequel.

Fun checking out areas left and learning about buildings, etc no longer there.
