Pretty Good IPS with extras Monitor
I snagged this monitor the (LG 27GP750-B 27” Ultragear FHD IPS Gaming Monitor ) on sale a week ago. This is my first Monitor in a while that supports 240Hz and also has HDR10 and Gsync. I really like the toggle switch button at the bottom that controls the monitors settings, has way more settings than my last one a slightly older Acer and is easy to navigate. I play a lot of games and so far, all of them look really good. Picture is sharp and with that high refresh rate it looks clean and no tearing. The HDR Mode I should say can be turned on in Windows in the Display settings area. Looks really good when watching movies and playing HDR Supported games. I also noticed this monitor does not get really hot nor does the power adaptor even after leaving it on all day, My ACER monitor would get very warm, and the power adaptor would get crazy hot after leaving it on all day. But this one stays nice and coolish. Between all the settings built in the monitor and using the Nvidia Control Panel or AMD's Panel, you can fine toon the picture to your liking and usage needs. I've used a good amount of CRT and LCD monitors over the years, and this is my first IPS one and so far it doesn't disappoint and more so for the price I paid :) I highly recommend this one and more so if you can snag it on sale. [Side Note] I would also recommend buying a spacer kit due to the monitor has a beveled VESA and depending on arm you use it might not sit right and will cause it to off-center if you don't use some spacers will longer screws. It does not come with spacers or longer screws. Luckly, I had some from a TV wall mount and worked fine. As seen in picture 2 I added. This one is pretty good but could use any spacer kit. https://www.amazon.com/Universal-Mounting-Hardware-Contains-Washers/dp/B088BZRJ7S/?_encoding=UTF8&pd_rd_w=cuSNp&pf_rd_p=bbb6bbd8-d236-47cb-b42f-734cb0cacc1f&pf_rd_r=YGHGZEMAE1N9BHAGC5G1&pd_rd_r=3f7ddf48-f58d-4616-8258-408904f2abc1&pd_rd_wg=ymz2O&ref_=pd_gw_ci_mcx_mi

World-Class Gaming Monitor
These days, it's hard to find a good gaming monitor that has no ghosting, is reliable, and comes without dead or stuck pixels. I bought this monitor mainly because of its high user ratings and positive feedback, especially after returning multiple other monitors due to dead pixels and ghosting issues. First of all, the stand is excellent—very stable, solid, and quite heavy. It is also highly adjustable (height, tilt, swivel, and pivot). The monitor stays perfectly stable even when you hit the desk or type heavily on the keyboard, with almost no noticeable wobble. The power adapter is dual voltage (100V–240V), so it can be used worldwide. It comes with a US 3-pin plug, which can easily be adapted for European or other outlets. However, the included power cable is relatively short—around 1 meter—which is slightly inconvenient. The monitor includes one DisplayPort 1.4 input and two HDMI inputs. Everything can be customized through the on-screen display (OSD), which is straightforward and easy to navigate. Out of the box, the colors look fantastic. Even without any calibration, it performs well for both gaming and general desktop use. The image is sharper than typical 27" 1080p monitors, though it is still not as crisp as a 24" display due to lower pixel density. The following settings work best for me: * Picture Mode: Gamer 1 * Brightness: 60 * Sharpness: 60 * Smart Energy Saving: OFF * Everthing else was left at DEFAULT Gaming performance is excellent. I play Counter-Strike 2 and other FPS titles, and I have not noticed any ghosting whatsoever. After several days of use, I also experienced zero dead pixels so far. HDR performance is rather weak and appears quite dim, but this is expected at this price range. For proper HDR experience, an OLED monitor is required. In conclusion, this is a fantastic gaming monitor that offers excellent performance at a great price. The 240Hz refresh rate and 1ms GTG response time deliver smooth, responsive gameplay with no visible ghosting in fast-paced movement. The main drawbacks are the short power cable and the relatively low pixel density for a 27-inch 1080p display—1440p would be more optimal at this size. If you're a competitive gamer focused on 1080p performance, this monitor is an excellent choice at 2026.

Perfect for Competitive Gaming – Smooth and Responsive
I’ve been using this LG 27-inch 240Hz monitor for competitive gaming, mainly playing CS2, COD, and Rainbow Six Siege, and it works perfectly. The 240Hz refresh rate delivers incredibly smooth visuals, and the response time is excellent — my reactions feel sharper and more precise in fast-paced games. One tip for fellow gamers: don’t set the response time to “Faster”, as it can cause overghosting. The “Fast” setting is the perfect balance for clarity and smoothness. Overall, I’m very happy with this monitor. It’s ideal for anyone who plays competitive shooters and wants a fluid, responsive gaming experience.

Works great but not real HDR I think
The HDR standards make zero sense. This does not have all the features and performance you'd expect of a full HDR monitor. That said, it's plenty good enough for me, and a major improvement in picture quality over my last monitor. It's my first high refresh rate screen, and the improvement in gaming is really nice. The refresh rate itself doesn't matter much, but remember that high refresh rate usually means lower latency, and that is the case here! Though the smoothness is pleasant too. 165hz would probably be good enough though, so if you find something similar with 165 you may as well get it instead if it's cheaper or has a better picture. That said, I like the idea of having 240. It's irrational but whatever. Anyway, nice screen, not too expensive. Always good to shop around when you buy though.

Great Quality at an Affordable Price
I was honestly kind of cautious to buy this because I was unsure of the quality. After purchasing, I am a fan and my Fiancé is an even BIGGER fan! The response rate is great, the picture looks phenomenal! It came earlier than expected, had no issues, and overall we are very impressed. He has upgraded this one to be his first monitor in his dual monitor set up; so overall very affordable option and very worth the price!

Just get it
First off, I’m always skeptical of getting a monitor or TV, and need to see the product myself IN PERSON before I purchase displays because I am a snob about the picture quality and color fluidity for not only PC games, but entertainment and work purposes. I bought this in the Amazon Prime Sale so I got a heck of a discount, almost 50% off. This is the newer model of these gaming monitors, so no need to look for the newest product (as of July 2021). Even if you buy this monitor at MSRP, you’re getting exactly what you pay for. I was surprised at the pixel and refresh rate quality the moment I plugged it into my 3090. Before I was using a curved gaming Samsung Odyssey monitor, great picture quality on that as well, but the difference is very clear. I think Samsung focuses more on hues of blue, where this monitor is focused on warmer colors like yellows, reds, and browns. White and black colors are optimized very well, which makes choosing brightness for your games much easier. No more upping the brightness because you can’t see. The HDR10 on this is some of the best quality HDR I’ve seen on a gaming monitor except for another high end Samsung Odyssey my brother owns. But keep in mind, the Samsung one ran him around $1100 and you can get just about the same quality on this LG monitor for ~$800 less. Be sure to change the refresh rate in your setting to get the maximum quality out of this monitor. The rest is up to you :)

Excelente monitor LG 240Hz!!!
