For someone like me who likes to wear her natural nails this worked perfectly to match the broken ones to the others and sparing me the excess payment of the salon

This honestly was not worth the money. Does not come with instructions. I went back to the site to get instructions and the gel was thick but at the same time, nothing was sticking to it. So, I have no idea what was the real problem.

I kept this because it would have cost me money to buy the fiberglass, the clippers, the tweezers and form wraps. I tested the gel and it doesn’t cure even with extra time. I highly recommend using a multiple purpose uv base coat. I used the Gelike 6 in 1, put a layer of silk fiber on and coated with the Gelike. After I cured I went ahead and buffed/shaped. Then as a finish I added a uv top coat that I had from Lavender. Basically the kit is good for the fibers and tools. Buy yourself a better combo gel and top coat or skip this kit and buy one with good reviews.

Salons don't do silk wraps anymore because they're healthy for your nails and take time to complete. My nails turned out well. Strengthened by the silk fibers and coats of hardener. Long, string, healthy nails for me!

I cleaned and prepped my nails as I would, for any other treatment. It created the nail nicely, but the minute I attempted to file it into shape it popped off of my nail, there are no instructions with the kit so I had to go buy products I was used to, but this one IMO does not work!

I used this product with a gel glue. The fiberglass starts to become invisible when applying the glue. I cut the strips into smaller pieces making them easier to work with, added a little gel glue, then cured. They look great, BUT, I should have top coated immediately because these little fibers are getting stuck in my skin, they are itchy and they feel as though I have cut myself with little paper cuts. I would suggest putting some sort of top coat on these fiberglass pieces immediately after application to encapsulate them, but I will not purchase this product again.
