Took abuse where the stocks couldn't
These things have served me perfectly. Worked for months with hard ripping and drifting in my slash 4x4 stock electronics. Motor dies, (yay for rust) these beat the replacement motor where the new replacement motor shaft ripped out of the car. I haven't had a single issue. It feels more responsive, whereas before it seemed like the crappy stock shafts were twisting as it accelled. I'm working on fixing it up now, still works after a half year in out florida garage. (using a brushed motor from a stampede) These will serve you well, please do not buy more of the Traxxas plastic shafts. They are absolute trash. I have a PILE of them with broken u-joints. These guys really made a quality product. I can't stress this enough, I am pissed at traxxas for providing these when they WILL break out of the box, with no power upgrades.

Best CVD's Out There!
Love Love Love these CVDs!!! Tekno is one of the best companies I have ever had to deal with. This is one of those no brainers. These shafts routinely hold up to 4S power with no problems. The only thing I want to tell you is DO NO RUN RPM CONTROL ARMS!!! That is directly from Tekno. The RPM plastic is known to flex so much that they will bend the driveshafts. I run the stock arms and they are much better IMO. Very rare that I break one and if I do its becase I smashed into something. Don't get me wrong I love RPM, but NOT in this application. I had the RPM A-Arms on my STRC LCG Slash 4x4 race truck and i was always adjusting camber/toe it would seem after every race everything would change. I blame it on the very flexible material they use. Very good in some areas, but bad in others. Since going back to stock its perfect. These CVD's are designed in a way that captures the hinge pins, The rear carriers offer much more adjustment then stock, and they are super beefy I have NEVER broken one, nor have I even seen a broken rear Tekno carrier. Buy them already you will not regret it.

Very good, strong drive shafts
Best drive shafts made. Just wish the rest of the parts weren't plastic. The plastic is wearing out and causing the wheels to wobble..... UPDATE... still have not broken anything running castle creations electronics 15t pinion, 54t spur and 3s all the time. But the plastic parts are wearing out pretty bad. The wheel wobble is pretty unbearable now.. And the pins inside the stubs are worn out allowing a lot of slop. But.... still not broken after almost a year.

Nut come loose with these halfshafts
Ok so. I have these on the rear if my stampede vxl. They are stronger and beefy. The problem is there is not the same amount of thread length like the stock ones have. So when there is not enough thread sticking thru for the nylock nuts to grab on to. As a result the wheels are constantly coming off. Also yes first blue locktight then red locktight. Still nuts come loose. If you are reading this techno rc. Just give them a few mm more thread length and that should be good.

Works great with RPM A-arms, Slash 4x4, 3s batteries
They are holding up well. They also send you some free Tekno stickers for your whip and extra caster blocks (?) in case you break the ones you get. I suppose there are slight differences in camber or toe for the extra blocks, however, when you are bashing, not sure if it matters ALL that much

Great axle upgrade
I was looking to buy axles for my slash 4x4 and couldn't decide on whether to get these, the MIP X duty or the upgraded traxxas axles. Based on other reviews from other products, I decided to go with these and I couldn't be happier. Installation was very simple and straight forward with the included instructions. I run on grass/dirt and asphalt. These hold up to 4S without skipping a beat. Sure you have to ditch the stock rear axle hubs but in my opinion these are a little bit stronger and give you more adjustability. I would buy these again in a heartbeat.

Tekno products are great!
I've been running these all around on my slash 4x4 now for about 3 to 4 months. They are very strong and will be worth it. The plastic CVD's the traxxas come with ready to run do not hold up. Save yourself the money and hassel and pick these up, put them on, and you'll be glad! The only issue I may see become a problem but, not really a big deal. Is the output shafts the drive cups connect to. This is more of a traxxas issue but, they are a little sloppy. I had to replace rear differential housing to cut down on the slop and you too may see this as a "little" issue. Over all great upgrade for the slash and would HIGHLY recommend!
