Sarebbe stato tutto perfetto se non fosse che il libro ha un evidente danno. Ormai con amazon capita 1 volta su 2, la cosa non mi sorprende neanche più.

A quien le guste el mundo del cómic, le gustará Sergio Toppi. En España no se ha publicado mucho del autor italiano y los que los han hecho han sido editoriales no muy conocidas como Ponent Mon o Ninth, y es una pena porque sus relatos son una preciosidad... Planchas oníricas, surrealistas y bellas en blanco y negro o en color. Este tomo 7 ( la editorial americana ha hecho justicia y ha sacado una colección maravillosa, que todo amante del noveno arte debería adquirir), de las 1001 noches, lo tenía en francés, de la editorial Mosquito, y ahora la editorial americana ha hecho una edición similar. Éste es un poco más grande, para deleitarse mejor con los dibujos y la calidad es igual de buena.. pasta dura, buen gramaje de papel e ilustraciones muy buenas.. Salvo 2 historias, que vienen en color, las demás son en blanco y negro. Mejor, a mí me gustan más en B/N . En español, creo que Norma lo sacó hace años, pero claro ya está descatalogada.. Así que toca leerlo en inglés o en francés... A ver si alguna editorial española lo vuelve a publicar..Espero que haya sido útil mi valoración

I have been looking forward to this collection I must say this is a highlight although all the books have been brilliant.Really great images and delicious colour make this substantial offering a book that I will treasure.The use of counter change and composition is quintessential Toppi the images are rendered beautifully and I just love Toppi when he illustrates birds and beasts and there are some great examples here.The images are fascinating they are grounded in reality but have another worldly aspect to them which can be dreamlike or nightmarish.A must have in my opinion can't wait for more Toppi books in the future.
