It came today and was easy to set up. I set the time manually and then initiated the search for the atomic signal. I didn't think it would find the signal in the early afternoon but it found it fairly quickly. Other atomic clocks I've had couldn't get a signal unless it was nighttime. It picked up the outdoor temp right away. I don't know how accurate it is but I'll know within a few days. I have another brand of clock with a temp sensor so I might put that sensor out with this one to see if the reported temps are the same. The clock is easy to read from across the room. The clock that it is replacing (the outdoor temp sensor died) was surrounded by a rather large frame. This clock has less frame and has a cleaner look. I hung it with a velcro command strip instead of trying to align two nails. A command strip held the other one on the wall for 8 years, so I figured it would work again. I'll update my review if my opinion of this clock changes.

This clock is easy to read, accurate, and tastefully sophisticated. The only thing that would make it better would be if it had backlighting.

The instructions aren't very clear which I think has led to some of the poor reviews, so here are some tips:1. There are some comments that folks can't set the clock etc. When the clock enters the searching for satellite mode (antenna that is by the time not the word "OUTDOOR" is flashing) you cannot access the settings. You can access them before it starts searching (right after you put in the battery) or after it is done (antenna symbol by the time is on solid). This isn't in the instructions.2. Time keeps "jumping" back after it is set. It is easy to miss setting the time zone (and daylight savings time) as you walk thru the setting modes. Even if you want to just wait for the satellite connection, you still have to set these items properly. You have to walk all the way through the settings because they are near the end. Also note, changing the time zone will adjust the current time immediately. This is a minor design flaw, because it you are setting it manually, you set the time first then the time zone, so you may need to go back and set the time again.3. The DST setting can be a little confusing and easy to miss like the time zone. You want it set to "on" if you live in an area that switches the clock for daylight savings time (DST). Whether or not it is summer (you've set the clock back and hour) or fall (you've moved the clock back) is irrelevant.Other than that:I like the clean look of the clock.Didn't check the accuracy of the indoor and outdoor thermometers, but they are in the right ballpark for sure.Comments that you can't read it in the dark are accurate - no and issue for me. I did not get the backlit so I can't comment on that.Oddly you can't just hang it from a single hook - you can see the two spots that need a hook in the product photos.I knock off 1 star for the poor instructions and weird hanging requirements.

This was bought as a gift for my dad. He is bed ridden and can’t walk at all so we buy him all the gadgets he needs to live in his room. The temp inside and outside would drive him crazy not knowing until I purchase this for him. He can see everything going on witb this. Well everything that mattered to him. He can just open his eyes, look a this clock that tells him everything he wants to know without moving an inch. He now know what the temperature is inside and outside. He know the date , time , and what kind of moon for the day. We are very pleased with this. Great price and great quality.

My previous "Atomic Clock" lasted 20 years... I'm hoping this one will last that long as well.it looks good...easy to read...accurate.

Doesn’t work and is not for the wall temperature out side sensor faulty doesn’t transmit well wouldn’t buy this again
