I watched a YouTube video showing each of these items being used to clean and dry a water bladder. I hike weekly so keeping my bladder clean and ready is important to me. This product was the perfect addition to my gear.

It does get the hose to the mouthpiece clean and it holds the bladder open to dry. It does seem to be a little fragile but I haven't broken it. As a bonus, my wife uses one of the brushes to clean a reusable straw.

Very easy to use and made relatively strong. Used it to clean out the left over water in my water bag and hose and it did an excellent job. I would definately recommend it...and I would buy it again!!

Nice looking kit and nice quality BUT - when I went to insert the long skinny wire brush, you have to twist it some to clean the tube (where the gunk builds up by the insertion point of the bag) and that’s when it happened - the brush separated from the long wire.The only way to get the brush out was to cut MY camelback tube off from where it attaches to the bag. Drat! Otherwise would have been a very nice cleaning kit. The long skinny brush IS a snug fit so it takes some work to slowly push it inside the long tube. The handle of it appears to be a flexible, tightly wound wire of which the twisted wire brush inserts into. So it must have been too tight of a fit into my tube that it would not come out when I pulled the red plastic ring in the metal wire handle.I tried and was unable to reinsert the brush end into its long wire handle. Hope this helps.

Really helps in keeping your water bladder clean whether it's Camelbak, Platypus or any other brand. Helps to get the drink hose and mouth piece clean with the long flexible brush. Also the drying rack really comes in handy to help the water bladder dry out thoroughly and quickly.

I think the bristles in this cleaning kit are fine for what they need to do. They are like toothbrush bristles and they shouldn't scrape or gouge the inside of your bladder or hose, but they will brush away the gunk.I bought this cleaning kit because I cleaned out my Source brand hydration bladder and hose, left it to dry and the water in the hose (after many many days of sitting) left black spots (mold or algae?) that I wasn't keen on drinking. Spraying water through the hose wasn't working, so I bought this kit.NOTE: Some hydration systems have quick connects and you will need to soak your hose ends in hot water for 5 mins to get the connectors off. My "snake" hose brush wasn't long enough to go all the way through my loooong hose, so I had to brush it from both ends. I thoroughly washed all my brushes before use in hot soapy water.The package that it comes in is a bit flimsy: it is a long thin bag and a cardboard label stapled to the top. A thicker/stronger bag would make for a decent storage for the brushes. The tiny plastic clips that hold the brushes are delicate, but nicer than just zip-tying them all together. I did not notice any bristles come loose when brushing, they appear to be held tight. Great price for a handy cleaning kit with other possible uses!
