Great product, survives my 11 month old staffy's chewing and up til now only a coconut has managed! We've had Kong toys previously, he had the black extreme one that he managed to chew into pieces at 8 months old so pleased to find something that he can really chew without it ending up in bits after 10 mins!

Purchased Nylabone Power Tough Dog Chew Toy Alternative Braided Bully Braid Stick, Large for dogs up to 23kg for £9.36.My dog is a constant chewer at present and has so far eaten a pair of shoes, socks, tin foil lids and food pouches etc.I purchased this item to try and move him away from chewing other items, although he does use this item when you give him it, he still goes back to other items when he can find them.I just don't think one item will solve a pup chewing on anything they can find.The more toys and chewing items that are dog specific for your pup the better. But hide or move everything else that you don't want him chewing out of reach or treat with an antichew spray.The Nylabone is strong and tough and my dog does like to chew it when given. Seems like it will last a long time. I cannot smell anything from the toy. However, my pup does like it from time to time.

I have a typical greedy lab who eats anything - but he doesnt like this! Its very thin so not worth the money for a bigger dog who normally destroys things in a day.

My puppy absolutely loved this and even my older dogs who doesn't like chews was really interested!Unfortunately, in about half an hour of having it, she had managed to chew little pieces off and cause a decent amount of damage to it.As a Border Collie puppy her jaw isn't that strong so I can't see how this is marketed for extreme chewers!

Worth a try. Sometimes he chews for a minute. But he prefers to eat!I will keep it as he just has the very occasional chew
