The unit seems to be very strong and is provided with heavy duty bolts. 5000 lb capacity may be an unnecessary stretch as it is made to hold a swing. It uses ball bearings which is a plus. However a major take on it is that the bolt holding bearings in place has to be removed to connect the heavy duty screws as it sits in their way while installing them. The holes for the screws should have been placed farther to clear that bolt or the bolt replaced with a shorter secured pin. Not a huge deal to remove the bolt and bearings though.

Purchase these for our swingset and they are very sturdy . I would highly recommend them!

Wanted to hang swings from our balcony and needed something strong and sturdy because the swings were for grown ups. These worked perfect and were exactly what I needed.

You can be confident with the hangers! I've got 3 pairs of this hangers and can't stop asking myself why I didn't order them earlier! Yes, they are huge 11x5.5cm. Yes, they are heavy, almost 1.2kg but they are made with thick alloy and stainless steel bearings, are rustproof and scratchproof (at least mine) and they are like Tank! Just what I needed for long-term project and 3 person swing... I've only hanged up to 600 kg and it easily holds that weight. The hangers had been screwed on concrete bearing beam with M12 anker bolts. Never used wood bolts and cheap carabiner that came with the order. The only concern with the order is the vendor who is changing price and availability of the item with unpredictable manner. Once in a while they might have more than 28 silver one, after you order - none and it costs more! The most unpleasant experience is starting after placing the order! You'll never know when the shipment would be sent and when you'll get your staff... In total I've made 3 orders: 1st order came with almost 1 month delay. 2nd order with 2 pairs of hangers came in time. 3rd order with 1 pair never came and got refund from Amazon. I'm using this hangers for long-term projects and will make updates in future...

This is a VERY HIGH QUALITY SET-The only issue I have is the bolt that holds the bearing and swing bracket , has a bolt that needs to be tightened against the aluminum bracket. It can only be tightened so much before cracking the housing. I worried that if a bearing ever freezes up the bolt or nut would back out causing the swing to drop. I fixed this by using a "lock" nut (has a plastic coating inside nut so it cannot come loose) . Cost about >25 cents each--Other than that issue these have two nice self sealed bearings in each holder. This deserves a five star but because of the bolt nut I had to give it 4 1/2
