Amazing coffee!
After being spoilt for good coffee in the west, I was looking for coffee that is not roasted black like charcoal and also freshly roasted. I did not have much hopes with this one as I was ordering on Amazon. I was not sure how it would work with getting freshly roasted coffee from Amazon! I was impressed with every aspect of this coffee from the packaging to the taste and flavour. I did not mind paying the additional shipping at all if it meant getting freshly roasted beans and they were! I ordered the Arabica Wanderoo for my French Press. I also love the sustainable approach Black Baza has :)

Pathetic taste,
I bought this coffee bcoz users around the world recommend me to go with local coffee roster rather than Starbucks. So i tried this particular one and it tastes really bad. Also the beans and puck after extraction is so dry that it looks powder. Tried with different setting but taste remains the same. I will not recommend this one. i have attached the pictures, the left puck is from Wanderoo and right one is Starbucks Expresso

Finally found my coffee!
A house favourite arabica with the perfect balance of flavours. Easily one of the best tasting black coffees I've tried. It is now my go to for my Aeropress, V60 and Drip coffee machines and surprised me with how good it was when I first tried it as a Cappuccino also. The sweetness, acidity and body are well balanced. Sustainable packaging is a plus.

Instant coffee in disguise
Absolutely horrible taste. From the time I took out the coffee beans till the brewing, it only smelled of instant coffee. I infact considered getting Starbucks beans after this, that's how bad this was.

Looking for stale, flavorless coffee? This one's for you!
Wow, is this a bad bag of coffee! I get it, India's still on a learning curve with coffee, but I've provided a nice comparison from another India brand so you can see what I got from Gray Baza (my new name for them, the pic will tell you why). Mine had zero aroma, zero shiny black color, and was packed in a funky non-resealable plastic bag, inside a paper bag, inside a box, and the box inside another paper bag. (And they brag about recycling…). Why no aroma, no color? Maybe because it was roasted on June 10, and this is August 22! Of course, the crappy bag didn't help. Plastic breathes, guys, and paper? Well you knew that. The side by side is a far better coffee from another So. Indian brand, ordered the same day, roasted (if "manufacture date" means "roasted date") one month ago, both received yesterday. The real coffee is the dark black, shiny one on the left. Full of flavor, full aroma like roasted coffee should smell. The Gray Baza (on the right) will go straight to my compost. I don't have time to argue for a refund with Amazon. Never again, what a waste of money!
