RED Kiss 2400 Tourmaline Blow Dryer

Love this dryer!! I have shoulder length, very thick, very coarse 4C hair. I was simply looking for a dryer that could leave my hair manageable....not necessarily straight. This went way beyond my expectations. I was able to blow dry my hair in sections in under 20 minutes. I only had to use the medium heat setting to get my desired results. My hair was fully stretched and quite soft after use. The dryer and attachments feel sturdy and strong , although not heavy or loud. I did not have to hold attachments in place. They stayed secure throughout the process. I also had minimal breaking/pulling on my hair using the wide tooth attachment. I also recently bought a soft bonnet by the same brand. Worked great with this dryer. I can get my roller sets dry in under an hour. Great purchase...would definitely buy again!

So far so good. it works well and has cut the time of drying my 4b hair. My last Red 1875 hair dryer broke (the fan blade inside). I liked it so much I decided to give them one more try with the 2400 version. Hopefully I will get 2-3 years out of this one. Time will tell.

I am enjoying using this hairdryer very much. The drying time is great and the outcome of my hairstyling with the round brush has greatly improved since I bought this dryer. I would recommend it to anyone.

Great dryer. Super hot and efficient. However, died after a little over a year. Not used daily either. Disappointed!

This Dryer is Great. It’s Exactly what I needed. It has good power, great Air Flow, Gets nice and Hot, Lightweight, Great Price. The only thing I’ve noticed is that I am forever accidentally hitting the button acciddntally, turning it from Hot to Warm. It’s something about the Button placement, or perhaps the ease of pushing the buttons. Anyway, it’s not enough of a problem that I wouldn’t Purchase this Dryer Again in the Future. I absolutely would rebuy this Dryer again.

... but a fan blade cracked. I don't mean something got in there and broke it, or that my wife's long hair got entangled in it. I mean the fan blade itself (which you can't even tough unless you pull it all apart), cracked and split. Just out of the blue. In all the years I've had and used hair dryers, I have never had that happen. It made a God-awful noise while she was using it. I looked, couldn't see any problems, switched it on, it sounded fine for about half a second but then got up to full speed and the noise came back. Eventually, a flashlight down into it showed the blade has cracked and is obviously throwing things out of balance and flapping away. Also, it never really had the power we were expecting. I was expecting far, far more out of this. And certainly a lot more than just the few months of use that we got. I've had hair dryers last for years. I guess they just make junk any more.

I’m still trying to figure out if this is really a 2400 watt dryer! I would expect a 2400 watt dryer to blow harder but this just doesn’t have the power. It does get hot when it’s on high but again, it just as powerful as the 1875 watt dryers I have. It didn’t necessarily dry my hair any faster than normal but it definitely heats up to help with better straightening my hair. It was nice and light weight but just as other reviewers have said- the buttons are in a weird spot and will get in your way when you blow dry your hair. It’s just a little annoying- nothing major. I wouldn’t buy it again but I would recommend it to someone who just needs a more inexpensive, light weight dryer that gets hot.

I buy this dryer all the time when mine goes out. Dries hair quuck. Makes hair very straight. Very high powered and great deal for the money. Love Red Hot ( not paid review. I honestly been using their products since hs and im 36 now with 3 kids with head full of hair )
