I love this so much!! I've been testing the suction cup phone holder for a year and it has been absolutely worth the money. The installation was super easy - I followed the directions exactly and the suction cup is very strong. It hasn't budged once so far even though it's been a year. I saw in the reviews some saying that the suction cup melted in high heat, but I have not had this problem. We've had 90-100's Fahrenheit temperatures all summer and we don't have a garage so my car sits in direct sunlight all the time. (Note: I have read reviews about this not working on textured dashboards. Mine is smooth, but the dashboard in my mom's van is textured. She loved my phone holder so much that she bought the same one and she hasn't had any problems either.) It holds my phone really well, even though I have a big case on it (think Otterbox size, but not that brand). The first thing I did to test the sturdiness was video chat my friend and drive out on a county road. The arm did bounce a little on the rough gravel, but she said the picture was pretty steady so she didn't get dizzy and she could hear me well. (I have the arm extended quite a bit, but if it was adjusted closer to the dash, it probably would have moved even less.) I also recently got back from a 6 hour roadtrip and this was a dream for using my GPS handsfree while navigating traffic. Design is great - I could access the aux port on my phone for music while it was in the holder and there is a gap in the bottom to plug in your charger as well. Adjusting the arm can be a little tricky with all the knobs. Once you get it adjusted to where you want it, it will stay just fine, but you need to use both hands if you want to move it up or down - one to hold the arm in place and the other to tighten the knob - so you shouldn't try to do it while driving. It would be nice if this was more user-friendly while the car was moving, but I understand that making it so you can just pull the arm into place might affect how sturdy it is, so maybe it can't be changed. The swivel on the back of the phone can be rotated with one hand, though, which is enough. One thing I do wish would be changed, though, is the phone release button. It's on the back of the phone, but it would be less awkward if it was on the side. All in all, I really do love this product and when the holder I have needs to be replaced, I will shop VANMASS first for a replacement. (Note: This came with an air vent holder, too, but I have not tried it out. The air vents in my car are weak and I've loved the suction cup model so much that I haven't felt the need to risk it.)

Had to play with it a little bit to figure out best angle and location depending on space available on dashboard of my car. Mine was narrow. Eventually found the perfect spot for mounting it on dashboard. So far so good and i love it! I like you can adjust it in all direction up and down and side to side. Easy to clip it inside mount and take it out. Fits my iphone 13 pro max and its silicone cover. I Drove local distance with it today. Worked great and stayed in place even on bumpy portion of roads. Price was very affordable too! I highly recommend!

I bought a stick on phone holder years ago and it came off right away so I was reluctant to buy another one. The one I had for years hooked onto the air vent and it just broke. So I tried this one and it stuck REALLY well without any signs of relaxing at all even in the middle of a bad heat wave in Georgia where my car registered 106 degrees and my phone wouldn’t work because it was too hot. I liked how it had both types of attachments: one to stick to things and one for the air vent. So it is very versatile. I tried it on my windshield first, but didn’t like where I put it because it obstructed my view. So I tried the one on the air vent and it holds strong too and that’s what I’m using now and I love it! My last model on the air vent kept coming off and I had to drill a hole in the air vent and put a nail through it, but this one attaches differently and there is no need for that. It clamps around the air vent instead of just squeezing it together that can be jiggled off. This one doesn’t move with jiggling. I like it on the air vent because it doesn’t obscure my view at all and it fits perfectly. I tried to get the one off on the windshield and it was hard, so I watched a video on how to do it and it was super easy without any marks or damage to the windshield. The trick is to release the black lever and then pull down on the plastic tab with a slow continuous motion to allow it to come off slowly. Don’t try to rip it off. It seems hard at first, but just keep up the slow pressure downward and backwards and it comes off in about 15 seconds. You can take some rubbing alcohol to remove any pieces left, but mine had none. I would highly recommend this product because it is doing everything they claim it does. Well worth the money. A much improved version of the earlier models!

Works fantastic. Really handy. I was annoyed with myself at first because I didn't notice the -don't use on leather- when buying and almost returned it until I realized it also lets you clip it to a air vent. I was just going to use it for a day or so until I could find what I needed as a replacement online but actually best vent clip phone holder I have ever used. Super stable. Holds on way better and in a different way than others I have seen. Actually holds onto the vent instead of has that pinch thing that others I have seen have, that has to go between two of the vent pieces and can damage them and often makes it so your phone rattles and is hard to see at the angle you have to have it sit at. I have mine on the upper area of the vent next to my driver's door and it is positioned perfectly. No glare on my screen; it isn't overly flexible, so it doesn't sag. I am honestly happier with how it is positioned than it was going to be. Also if you do want to use the suction cup arm that thing is super heavy-duty, and the suction cup is definitely never coming off rain or shine unless you actually take it off yourself. That thing could probably have a full-grown adult hang off of it and still not pull off the dashboard without your permission! I can get lost walking a straight line into the next room so having the ability to properly get directions and have a map open that I can glance at is a must for me. This car holder has definitely become a permanent fixture of my vehicle and has already gotten me out of repeated death spirals of being lost both in the middle of nowhere and in town!

This is a great quality product. Easy to install and it's very easy to take your phone on and off. Last well in the AZ heat. As a heads up, if you have a pop socket or even one that lays flat /pops out on the back of your phone, YOUR PHONE WILL NOT FIT IN THE HOLDER. I had to take mine off.

I am very happy with this phone holder. I have tried both the suction fit and the air vent clip - both work very well. The suction cup sticks so well, it was actually quite hard to remove and reposition (I'm guessing the adhesion would reduce over time, but on first use it was very strong!). When I removed it, I couldn't see any marks from the adhesive so I was pleased about that. I repositioned it and it stays firm - no wobble. I used the air vent clip in an old campervan and it was put to the test - the ride was extremely bumpy in that vehicle but the clip stayed fixed and the phone position remained good - I was very impressed! The phone mount itself is well designed and easy to use with a small button to release the phone, so you can do it with one hand if needed. Inserting the phone is equally easy - you just place the phone in the mount and squeeze the sides to fit - you can do that one handed too. I would certainly recommend this product - it seems well made and I think it'll last a long time.
