Working very well for my tomato, zucchini, and yellow squash plants grown indoors.
I grow almost all our veggies and herbs in our basement indoor garden. This is the same fertilizer that used to be called "tomato feed". I use this fertilizer on all of the flowering and fruiting type plants, tomatoes, yellow squash, zucchini, cucumbers, etc., and they are all growing and fruiting very well. I have been getting more and larger produce since using this fertilizer. This fertilizer includes micro nutrients and the added calcium and magnesium helps to prevent blossom rot in tomatoes. Most plant foods do not contain both calcium and magnesium. It also contains sulphur that was not included in Tomato Feed, and is an essential nutrient for the growth and development of plants. In addition, I have found that using this plant food is more cost effective than liquid fertilizer I have used. One 4 lb. container of this plant food will last me for more than 2 months at a cost of $22.50/month while the liquid fertilizer for the same plants was costing $55-$78/month and contained less nutrients. I had been buying additional nutrients to supply those the other fertilizers were lacking. I use 1 tsp. per gallon of water for every watering. So far, this has been working well. Considering all of these plants are being grown indoors, I thing they look pretty good. I have been using this fertilizer exclusively for my latest grow of indoor Early Girl Tomato bushes. I have 10 plants in 10-gallon pots, and still have 6 of the extra plants in 2 gallon pots. Of course, the plants in the 10 gallon pots are larger and producing more tomatoes. I was surprised the plants in the smaller pots not only flourished, but also are producing nice sized tomatoes. I have added a couple of pictures of the latest grow of tomatoes and the extra plants in the smaller pots. Update 4/18/26: My latest grow of tomatoes is indeterminate beefsteak tomatoes. I have 8 plants and had to sell and freeze most of them since the plants were so productive. Most of the tomatoes have been large, and I have seen very little if any blossom rot. This is my favorite fertilizer for tomatoes, and I also use it for bell peppers and squash. I hope this review was helpful for you.

Excellent for zucchini, bell peppers, and tomatoes!
I used this on all of the vegetables growing in my garden this year and it worked so well! I used it on zucchini, cucumber, beefsteak tomatoes, bell pepper, and cherry tomato plants. They all grew really well and stayed green and healthy. It's very easy to use, and it even comes with a little measuring scoop. You scoop the amount necessary for your watering can size, fill with water, and give it a little mix. Then, just pour it into your plants as you normally would. The mix doesn't really have much of a smell, but it visually appears a bit blue from the ingredients. It's a really good value for the money in comparison to other garden fertilizers, and the brand is trust worthy. I will keep purchasing this every year for my veggies!

No joke, this changed my garden for the better
MUST BUY!!!!!!! When I tell you there has been a massive improvement in my garden, that is no joke. My poor blackberries were struggling bad and this SAVED them. I am a fairly experienced gardener (10+ years) and this product is a game changer for me. I normally use organic products and not a supplemental feed unless I absolutely have to. This doesn't burn the plant at all. My tromboncino plant literally exploded in grown and put out 6 new squashes. The instructions on the back made it clear and easy to use. The color of the product itself is blue. Not a huge smell to it. It enhances the male and female flowering blooms. The appearance of the container itself was smaller than expected. The appearance of the fertilizer itself is a granular mix that dissolves in water very easy. 10000% recommend to any gardener for indoor plants or outdoor gardens (flour, veg, or herbal), this product is going to be a staple for me when my outdoor space is struggling!

Good fertilizer!
I can tell it's a good fertilizer. My plants respond to it very quickly. DO follow the directions, and don't be affraid to use a little LESS than they recommend per gallon. It's got a high NPK, and if your soil is already high in any one of those nutrients, it could cause burn to your plants, so I recommend starting with a half dose, then maybe a full dose 2 months later...or...do the small dose every few days or once a week method.

Former Organic Gardener, Now JR Peters Fan!
I've been using the JR brand fertilizers now for three years. I used to be one of those "staunch organic" gardeners that thought poorly of chemically derived fertilizers. I started gardening in the subarctic and found that I just wasn't getting enough performance in my short garden season from organic ferts. I wanted to make a change. I did a lot of research and found this company. I liked that they used soil science and were a soil lab first and foremost. They have clearly been at this game for a good long time (under a couple names) and had a good reputation. They have a clear understanding of the nuances of various plants out there and the needs of a gardener that are trying to care for those plants. I first tried the all purpose and within one week, I was sold on the product line. This stuff is amazing and forever changed my entire opinion of non-organic fertilizers. The bottom line, if my plants were unhappy with it, they wouldn't respond as well as they do. Within two days of applying this, you will see significant and noticeable growth. The liquid application works quickly and effectively. When used in appropriate dosages, and even a little bit more, there is no risk of fertilizer burn. For all of my nightshades and peppers, I use the Tomato Feed platform for the first two applications of fertilizer. (This ensures appropriate calcium and magnesium throughout the season.) I then switch to a 50/50 mix of the all-purpose and bloom booster and continue this rate for the rest of the season. I have found the mix to be a more effective balance between flowering and growth than bloom booster alone. For most other veggies, I use just the all purpose. For my flower pots and beds, I use straight bloom booster throughout the entire season. I have completely converted over to the JR Peter's brand fertilizers and use it exclusively across everything, even my indoor citrus and houseplants using those purpose-focused products as well. The Tomato Feed is expensive, at least compared to their other products! But, you don't have to use it for the entire season. I only ever use it for the first two fertilizer applications. If I start to notice magnesium or calcium deficiencies later in the season, I reapply. Otherwise, don't use this stuff every day or you'll go broke! Use the all purpose or bloom booster as a regular, more affordable fert for the rest of the season. I get about 2-3 years from one of these buckets and that grows a lot of tomatoes! Since switching, our production rates have shot through the roof and we even do well in "bad seasons" across most of our garden. While fellow gardeners complain, we reap incredible benefits because of this product line.I can't recommend this stuff enough, honestly!

Great fertilizer
We used this fertilizer to grow tomatoes, peppers, and a watermelon in 7-gallon containers this past summer. We grew from seed and used a different brand's high nitrogen (11-3-8) fertilizer to encourage growth until the plants reached their full size, and switched to the Tomato Feed fertilizer to support flowering and fruiting. The growing conditions were not ideal - we grew on our apartment balcony with only 5-6 hours of full sun starting during the hottest parts of the day. Despite this, regular weekly feeding with this product (along with watering, pruning, and other maintenance) seemed to greatly benefit the plants. From three plants we harvested about 10 lbs of useable tomatoes. We also got a slightly undersized but still delicious sugar baby watermelon, a quarter pound of peppers from a habanero plant, and a couple pounds of peppers from a jalapeno plant. For the price you don't get a whole lot of fertilizer, but for our needs one 1.5 lb tub is looking like itll last two seasons (I.e., we used about half the tub for our plants over the summer). That said, we did have to use more fertilizer overall growing in containers than we would have had to if we were able to grow in the ground or a bed. Overall, great product, and at the end of our first growing season we are not regretting the purchase at all!

Its what plants crave. Its not brawndo
By far my favorite fertilizer. I like to get it to a liquid so it doesn't burn the roots. And it gives the plants life!
