Great for baby spiders!
The water dish is small but heavy to stay in place. I have had no problem taking out the plug to insert food. I have been using the cylinder for water, although it says it can be used for food. The branch only fit in one way, and was sturdy. I did swap it out for a flower and a bench to try to liven it up— he really liked the branch so waiting to see what he thinks.

Good for Jumping Spiders
I bought two of these for my jumping spiders. Pros: Great size for little jumpers. Good it doesn’t open at the top, as that’s where jumpers typically nest. CUTE and stylistic I like the little feeding hole at the top - convenient size for fruit flies. Cons: Obvious super glue left over in places. Also rough plastic cuts around the holes. (Does not affect function at all.) The grass/carpet sheds a bit, and I had to trim it down so the container would close all the way. The grass/carpet fits in loosely, which makes cleaning out dead bugs easier, but also made one of my spiders curious, and he’s determined to climb around underneath the carpet, so that I’m worried he’s going to get crushed if I move it too quickly. One of the included sticks/branches/root? was too big for the container, and couldn’t be trimmed. (I replaced with sticks/decor of my own.) I genuinely don’t know what the hanging down vial is for… To me, it’s an unwanted feature and just gets in the way. It doesn’t have any holes or anything. Seems like it serves no function?

Poorly made
Poorly made it fell apart in a week and also the screens are hot glued in. I had a female lay her eggs in another one and the branch fell out causing her clutch to fall out I’m trying to save them im a new cage! Lucky the other females eggs are doing great I can’t wait to get her an enclosure like I did the other female. Paid the same price too for so much better! The bowls are cute but useless because jumping spiders can drown all they require is a mist to the tank. Other than jumpers there nothing else that would fit in it. Also what are the tubes for they are useless too! Along with the top hatch opening.

Perfect after some easy modifications
I ordered these small enclosures because one of our jumping spiders laid a second surprise egg sac, and her enclosure is not baby-proof. I knew that these weren't perfect as is for tiny slings, but I figured that with some modifications, they would work. Here's what I've found: 1) The screens on the sides aren't glued in properly, but a quick round with the hot glue gun fixed both sides. 2) I took the feeding tube and cut it. I didn't know how quickly the fruit flies would find their way out of those small holes, and I wanted it to be easier to feed the slings. Then I moved the thicker plastic ring above the enclosure and hot glued that to the enclosure so there were no small holes for the slings to squeeze through. 3) I ordered a set of 3 small metal funnels that fit perfectly into this tube opening. 4) I taped the edges where the enclosure opens as it doesn't close tightly enough. 5) I did not use the water bowl as slings could drown in them. I am using those for bigger jumping spiders, though. Once I did this, I could capture the slings as they escaped their mama's enclosure and separate them into the new smaller enclosures. The screens make it easy to mist them daily, keeping them humid and hydrated for molting, and with the funnels, it's super easy to feed them. And I've had zero escapees since making these modifications. Note that I did order one for a slightly larger but still juvenile jumping spider and didn't need to add tape along the edges of the enclosure, but I still made all the other modifications, and it's working perfectly for him/her. For the price and speed at which these arrived, it's absolutely worth it, and I will continue to order.

Smaller than we thought.
Our jumping spider, Dave, was not impressed. Like many things in life, this “home” appeared much larger in the picture. Also like many things in life, seeing the home’s scale up close was very disappointing. Sometimes you give it a try, anyway, to much dismay. Dave instantly threw a fit and wrote a lengthy, very aghast letter to HR to complain about the inferior living conditions he was subjected to. “Spider Dave” I said “you better behave!”. Spider Dave just laughed and menacingly said “no”. Alas, this home would not do. Dave got his way. I’m not sure what could comfortably live in here. Perhaps a fruit fly?

Adorable Spider Home! Worth every penny 💕🕷🕸
This is a very nice little home. The carpet is soft and connected to the bottom. The Twig is useful and cute for the size. Real not plastic. Not sure what the mini bowl is for yet, it’s my first spider 😊 Good water holder and ventilation from external sides. The pipette and tweezers are good size for the home and will be useful too!s 🕷🕸😊💕

Cheaply made
As expected the items had been cheaply made , of course you get what you pay for , they don’t “lock” ether. however what caused me to leave a 2 star review was not 1 but all 4 (original 2 I ordered and the 2 replacements) had missing drift wood . Isn’t a huge deal considering it’s just sticks , but to replace 2 because of them missing the driftwood and sending another 2 missing the same items is just crazy to me .

Not the best
Too small for anything except a pet flea perhaps. Substandard and expensive.
