Precision Kelly Hemostat Forceps Locking Tweezers Clamp, Silver, Straight Stainless Steel

I bought these because my tweezers keep slipping off my gray eyebrow hairs and they just will not pull them out well. These clamp onto each individual gray hair and don't slip off and it makes it really easy to pluck those stubborn grays out of my brows. The tip is thin and long, with a slight curve, which makes grabbing the right hair very easy. I love these things! Now I can pluck my eyebrows with no problem and it gets the hair out the first time every time! I know there is a medical use for these too, but they are just a very helpful grooming tool for me, and I am really happy I figured out how to use these for plucking those stubborn gray eyebrow hairs; I was really getting frustrated with the tweezers! I highly recommend trying these for this technique yourself!

Work for what I need. I am a veterinarian and I use these for my daily practice. There is some inconsistency in product manufacturing (ex: some hemostats close more tightly than others, design of the locking clamps, etc.). But overall it does what I need it to do.

These work well for removing hooks from a fishes mouth.

I use these to open the safety seal on food and med items due to arthritis in the hands. They do do the job, but these are not as well-made as true surgical hemostats that I used in the past. They are difficult to lock and unlock.
