I love this vac. It is amazing. Large canister capacity so don’t have to dump as often. Use it for house cleaning. Literally never sweeping with a broom again. This vac is the best. Wish the power cord was a little longer but no worries. I use it to power blow my porch from my front door. It does the job awesomely. It cleans all the messes the kids leave around. I’m looking for more attachments for it, something easier on carpets, but I really, I love it and I will always use it. I did think it was broken at one time, it was making a loud screeching ungodly noise. I was afraid I lost my vac. I took it apart, and discovered there was a AA batterie that somehow made it inside near the motor. I removed it, screwed it back together and WAH LAH!! It’s going strong once again. It’s still fairly new, got it FEB 2022 and it’s Dec 2022 and it’s still brand new, and when I went inside the motor, it was so clean in there you could lick it. So the vac takes care of itself. But somehow that battery did get inside but I fixed it. So simple. The blue filter is all we use. We never used the foam filter and the blue filter I just wash it like once every other month. Otherwise I give it a got shake on the brick of the house whenever I dump it and that’s about once a month. It is the lowest maintenance machine I ever owned. Never gets clogged. Just perfect. This vac has amazing suction power, it's easy to assemble (I managed it without even a screwdriver) and has all the standard attachments. For someone like me who will be using it to vacuum up normal household messes, this is a great value. It's the lightest and easiest to maneuver vac I've ever had. It can be used for wet or dry messes and comes with both wet and dry filters. I would recommend this vacuum to women especially, as it is light and easy to pull around corners, and is perfect for standard household work. I'm not sure I would recommend it for heavy use in places like garages and workshops where grease and oil abound, but definitely good for cleaning household messes that a standard vac can't handle.

I use the Shop Vacuum for my home... My "wand" vaccum works okay for surface cleaning but after I have had my Great Nephews or Niece snacking and running in and out of my apartment, carrying debris in with them and the messes left in their wake, I get the lightweight Shop Vacuum out and within a few minutes, my apartment is tidy again... The Suction of the Vacmaster is impressive and pulls up ground in dirt from little feet... I am very pleased with this purchase...

This vacuum is lightweight, which was a must for me, and has good suction. The only downsides I find are that the power cord is fairly short and not retractable. Overall, a good value.

So easier to move around, and doesn't have a really large diamneter hose.
