This baby toy train can run on the carpet?

Yes we are using on carpet and hardwood floor

What is the recommended age for this musical toy??

The box said not to give to children under 18months, we seen that the shaped blocks are small enough for a child to get them wedged in their mouths. We had to go out and purchase another gift as this said for 12/18 months. They need to change the recommended months on the ad.

The pictures appears misleading in size, why??

Yes the toy is about 50% of the size I had expected but having said that it was an appropriate size and was enjoyed by our 1 year old grand son.
