Great for Experts
This model is very realistic. However, I do not recommend buying this for a quick project with the kids. The instructions were not real clear and the pieces were not easy to remove when it was time to put them on the model. But the end product is pretty cool if you can get there.

Too difficult
Gave up after a few days. Maybe good for seasoned model builders, but not for beginners. Instructions are a bit confusing, parts are too tiny.

Gotta love the fins on the missiles....
Even though this isn't one of the premium (colored parts) this is still one of my favorites for the challenge, and sheer detail that went into this. If I'm not mistaken, there were 48(?) Little fins to bend onto six little missiles. Enough to give you fits! But for those of us that like that sort of thing, the detail it produced is second to none! ( except for the blue angels premium model I believe is now out)

Great jet
This is my most beautiful model. Pros: - easy to assemble for master modelers - stays together and won't disassemble when you dust it - F-18E can take off and land with more ordnance under the wings - higher maneuberabilty than an F-16 below 300 mph - longer range than the F-35 (which is replacing it ?!?!?!) - max speed higher than any Soviet fighter from that time period (1960-2000) My 3 favorite aviation books, all from Amazon: - Aviation Art by Lou Drendel - Box Top Air Power by Thomas Graham - Great Fighter Jets of the Galaxy 1 by Tim Gibson

Imposible de montar
Piezas muy muy muy pequeñas. Hay piezas de lego que son más grandes que toda la maqueta entera. Ya había hecho muchas maquetas pero de madera pero esta de metal ha sido imposible. Tuve que tirarlo a los dos días por no poder montarlo. Si cambiarán la escala y fueran más grandes seguro que triunfarían

Far too finicky / delicate, assembly instructions are not great. Kit ended up in bin.

the model was incredibly flimsy and very hard to use. It was extremely hard to cut out and put together pieces. But to conclude this was a waste of money and set me back £21
