MANIC PANIC SuperNatural Hair Dye Cobra Light Brown

I love how this was damage free as my hair has already been lightened. I was trying to find a dye that would not damage my hair since my roots are growing out and I was stuck between tiger's eye and cobra. I am so happy I went with cobra--my base color in the before was a very ORANGE color and I wanted it to look a lot more natural. I used 2 of the cobra dyes I think 3 would have been better since on the second jar I had to water down the dye with conditioner to coat my hair good enough. It was super easy to apply. I love that because its a semi permanent it will fade and I can always try something different.

Doesn't cover grey hair at all.

I bought light brown cobra color. Followed directions and even slept with dye overnight. Nothing. Color didn't stay on. Even in shower, no color was washing off which I thought was weird. Usually you will have color run off until clear. I don't know what was in container. I can't tell if it's a bad product or a lemon since their dyes are usually strong. I've bought and used manic panic before in the color vampire. That stayed on so well. I would not recommend cobra color. I'm hesitant to try again and waste money.

I was really worried about dying my hair as I had had some bad experience in the past. My hair is naturally a very dark brown, almost black. I had slowly lighted it over a couple months and some extra sun exposure took it too light. My hair was starting to get very red and blondish. My hair is just below my shoulder blades but is very thick so I ended up using almost all of two jars and left it on for an hour and 30 minutes. It tells you to leave it on for at least an hour and that you could even sleeping it as it is vegan and non damaging. I can speak to the non damaging for sure. My hair was very soft after using and didn't feel stripped at all. The color was beautiful! It came out as a medium chocolate with deep red undertone. I loved it so much that a month later when the color had almost completely faded I bought this again but in the Amplified version as it last a couple weeks longer and has more color pay off. I will continue to buy this color (in amplified version) as I personally love it on my hair. I only wish that these lasted longer or that Manic Panic would come out with a permeant version of this! If you are new to dying your hair this if very user friendly and won't last too long so you don't have to make a huge commitment. i highly suggest starting with this regular jar and then if you like it switching to the amplified version.

Fun new colors. Even got my 76 year old mom to try it. I love that I can leave MP in overnight and it conditions my hair so well. Always my go to.

The color was good but the coverage and longevity just wasn’t as good as what I normally get from manic panic.
