Worked Great
I wanted to extend my 4' chain link fence higher at the corner posts to attach a rectangular shade sail to the posts and the corners of the house, and these worked perfectly for that. It's nearly impossible to find the 2 1/2" post extenders in this country. These are only 2' long, but are very solidly made. I had hoped to find 4' lengths, but in 2 1/2" posts, they don't seem to exist.I would also like to raise my side chain link fence, then add privacy covers, but I want to raise the fence by 4' not 2'. I can find 4' 1 7/8" extensions, but not four foot 2 1/2". They kind of go together when extending a 100' long fence.I could stack 2 of the two foot 2 1/2" extensions, but at over $40 per pair, that's getting rather pricey, considering all of the other parts I will need to raise the entire fence.Something to think about...

Good way to make your chain link fence taller
Extend-a-Fence posts are a great idea and brilliant design. I have been a degreed and licensed professional engineer for early 50 years so I know good designs from bad ones . I am extending a 4 foot chain link fence around a dog yard to put top rails at the top and across the gate area to allow me to us a 16ft X 20 ft heavy duty tarpaulin in place of the existing 10 ft X 20 ft tarp supported on a very flimsy wooden structure to keep the rain away from my dog, and his food bowl, bed and 3 houses. I put one 2 ft Extend-a-Fence post inside another to give me the 4 foot height I wanted. Since the 2 self-tapping screws allow the posts to move back and forth, I added a third screw to give the structure more stability (the last thing I want is one of the post sets moving and dropping a top rail on the dog during a storm). One of the posts would not fit inside one of the others but when I switched it to another post it slid in perfectly. For some reason the clamps that hold the top rail ends would not tighten on the posts (3 out of 6 with old and new clamps so it must be the clamps were a little too big) but 2 strips of 1" X 1/2" 16 gauge sheet metal bend to hold it in the clamp solved this problem.

Worked like a champ!
Connected on easily, came with fasters and pre drilled holes in the extensions. I did need to pre drill a small pilot hole in the main.

It works and looks good
I had a 3ft fence I extended to 6ft with this pole adapter. Slips right on had to use wd40 and tapped in with a Sledge hammer slightly to snug fit it down, then drill in the self tapping screws. It works good.

Extensions
They worked as advertised, I was able to extend my 6’ steel fence posts.

Perfect fit.
These were the perfect fit for extending my current fence. Originally had a shipping issue but they handled it immediately. The self tapping screws were even included. Highly recommend!

Very Nice
Worked perfectly. I had one that was flat on 1 side and it wouldn't slide on but it was nothing a hammer and an old aluminum bat didn't fix.lol. One thing to watch out for the pictures shows a set of 4 but it really is only 2. Overall it was exactly what I needed to give my cucumbers another 2' of height to climb.
