It seriously works as well as the $1500.00 models I've used for 20 years. I immediately calibrated it against a much more expensive one and they read the same. It is built exactly the same and even if it may not last as long (I expect that though it hasn't failed yet) I can purchase 5 of these for the same $$$ as one of the others. I've had to repair every one of the expensive ones.
