I have bought 1 of these mattress protectors, in a full size for one bed and it worked so well that I bought another (queen size). They have both held up through repeated washings, and protected the beds from imminent fluid spills. Based on past experience with mattress protectors, I was concerned that they might be too "noisey", but none of us have had any issue with this brand. Because if the waterproof underside, I worried that it might retain heat too easily, making it uncomfortable in hotter temperatures, but an entire summer has now passed without that being an issue. The covee also stays in place- even on unusually deep mattresses! No corners popping loose in the night.

We received our FreshFit queen mattress protector sooner than anticipated. We washed it in cold water and air-dried before use, with no issues. It fit our 14-inch thick queen mattress perfectly, with no wrinkles. Although we have not had to 'test' its water resistance (better to have it and not need it than need it and not have it....), we can say that we love how thin it is -- we don't even know its there. It is very well made, both in quality of workmanship and materials. It seems to be quite breathable -- so far we have not noticed any crinkling or bunching, nor have we experienced any heat build-up or slickness from night-sweating, using only fitted sheet between the protector and us. Thus far, a great product -- far better than the one we replaced (and which cost quite a bit more, built up moisture that came up through the top sheet during the warm, humid summer, and lasted only two years before the threading started to unravel -- never had a chance to find out whether it was water resistant....).

For me it didn't work. I was warm with it and didn't like that there is poly or rayon in it. The good is that it is very flexible, made well, soft, and does not crinkle at all. The other good is that the company is excellent and when I mentioned I had a problem using it, they immediately told me to return it for a refund. That makes it worth the try I gave it. I am sure many people will like it ... it just wasn't right for me.

This product shipped quickly and fit well on my queen size bed, even with an extra layer of mattress padding. I have fortunately not had a chance to test its waterproof ability, but knowing there is an extra layer of protection on the mattress provides a nice sense of security. As for sound, there is not much of a crinkling sound. If anything, I have experienced a slight sliding sound between the sheet and the protector, but it is really not that noticeable. Overall, this seems like a good product.

I ordered to cover the last of my unprotected beds in the house. With 2 kids we wanted to protect all beds, because our kids are like nomads. Compared to the others this seems like the best quality, even the package was nice! It's soft to the touch so it doesn't feel like your sleeping on plastic. Double stitching on the seams, so it looks like it's built to last. I tested with water and it soaked it up after a while but it didn't leak through the other side.

We got this for my grandmother who has trouble with incontinence and so far this sheet has completely held up its end of the deal. I saw some other people complaining about it bring crinkly and loud but we haven't had any of those issues. It's a great protection for the bed and we've had zero accidents and nothing has gone through on the mattress. I would recommend it to anyone with incontinence issues or who simply want to protect their mattress from spills

Alas, my cat put this protector to the test today. Sad to say the protector is only sort of water resistant - definitely not waterproof. The pee was mostly stopped by the protector, but the underside of the protector was moist from absorbing the liquid, so the mattress topper underneath it still absorbed some humidity and plenty of cat pee smell (no bueno). Luckily the combo of this protector + the mattress topper underneath did keep the pee from reaching the mattress itself, but I still would count that as a fail for the supposedly waterproof mattress protector. Perhaps it's enough for spills that are immediately cleaned up, when you can keep the liquid from absorbing and passing through to other layers beneath it, but it's not going to help with pet or child accidents that might sit for a while before detected. I'm going to see if I can find a better one on the market, even if it's more expensive. Don't buy this unless you really can't afford anything better and you don't mind it not being properly waterproof. No noise or change in bed texture when using this protector, if you're wondering. Update 6/2017 (original comment 1/2017): Further cat pee encounters have improved my relationship with this protector. I've been able to catch all incidents right away since that first time, and I can confirm that the protector is very helpful in the immediate moment. Again, I don't recommend letting liquids sit on it for long, but if you're getting this for a situation where you'd be catching the spills within minutes, then this is a good affordable investment. Glad I have it, although still believe it shouldn't be called waterproof. Added one star to my review because my mattress is happier.

This is my 2nd mattress protector- really does it’s job well. I appreciate the fact it’s quiet underneath sheets or mattress pad if used. It fits very well; although not so tight that it doesn’t develop a few wrinkles but they don’t interfere with sleep comfort. Easy to launder and mattress stays clean and fresh underneath. This is my go-to now for any new mattress.
