Hi. Not sure I understand your need. This is a foot pedal. Tap with your foot to turn the page. I don't think hitting it with a stick will work. Sorry I can't be more helpful.

The pedal works by sending out keypresses (like left/right arrow, PgUp/PgDn) to the connected device. It is up to the app to interpret these keys presses as triggers to do a task (e.g. turn a page, or scroll down). Almost all PDF readers accept these types of keypresses, including foxit.

Q: I want to advance to songs in a playlist via footpedal. Will this work with Music and Playlists for that purpose?

I use The ForeScore app and it’s great.
