The camera itself is great, looks great and worked brilliantly initially, however after 6 weeks of buying (after the refund window) my first one stopped working and was making a weird humming sound when plugged in, reset button doesn’t work, power light doesn’t come on.. nothing, absolutely dead. Then, my second one a few days later did the exact same thing! I’ve gone back and read all the one star reviews and it looks like a very common issue. So now I’m stuck with 2 cameras that don’t even turn on and I can’t refund 🙃 I have rated the product 5 stars in hopes that my review will be nearer the top when people click to buy the item so they read this beforehand. Please do not buy, do your research thoroughly!

I have bought in total 5 of these cameras. To set them up it took a few message exchanges with Littlelf but they were brilliant and very patient and answered all my questions until all was properly working. For me the best feature is the fact that you don’t have to subscribe to a cloud system to be able to record footage, especially if you invest in the largest capacity SD card which I did for all of them. The only issue is that they depend on good broadband to work effectively otherwise there will be a time delay when moving the camera or accessing the footage live or recorded - so I found out when on holiday. But that probably applies to anything that you have to access over the internet, I suppose. The sound is not great but that is not something that bothers me. I love my cameras and will be buying a few more again for a family member.

The Littlelf security camera is very good, and easy to set up with your WiFi. The nighttime photos are clear and the daytime ones have excellent colours and definition. There’s a range of options from the App as well, including 2-way chat (the cats are not too sure) and a Patrol setting that can be programmed. It would be nice to have an outdoor version sometime (I use it through double glazing). There is an extensive searchable FAQ in the App, and if you don’t find your answer, the live support from the App is really good; there is a team of real ‘Elves’ standing by in the background to answer questions and help with problems, and they respond very quickly. I don’t think I have met this type of support before, it’s very innovative - Iris, Brandy, Miya, Yuki, Lance, Fancy are some I have ‘met’, all knowledgeable, friendly and happy to help and readily available in ‘live chat’ from the App. They are human ‘Elves’ too (not Bots).

Great motion sensor camera that follows you round the room and returns to start position when you stay in one place for less than a minute which meant privacy for the person I was getting alerts for. My dad has Alzheimer's and goes to the commode several times a night so this was perfect for alerting me. Unfortunately just over a month after purchase and use it started making a strange noise and stopped working. I unplugged and left it for 24 hours and tried again but nothing. Maybe I was unlucky with this. Luckily I still had the cheaper static Little elf camera to fall back on and I'm still using it problem free. I did get a free replacement, the problem seems to stem from the USB plug that is supplied, once I used my own spare, it's been working ever since and it's now March 23.

We use this cam as a dog cam up we’ve owned this product for around 4 weeks now and i can definitely say this is a quality cam especially for its price it looks cool and it has some great features. Picture quality both night and day are superb, most days we playback the footage from the night before to see what our pooch has been up to which in turn puts our minds at ease knowing he’s ok, this product also has two way microphones witch is cool also. Another great feature is if you have any issues or questions about this cam they have an online helpline within the app ( very useful) All in all for the price your getting a very good quality product and I highly recommend it. It’s ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ all the way for me 👍😄

Very strong and sturdy camera with good features. I have purchased some but this looks and feels sturdy. Best thing about it is, it can be viewed online and also can be live talk via app to the people so could be used as a door camera too. The camera is a wide angle camera with a HD 1080p video. Also has a night vision & an Ethernet slot which is a bonus as most of them don’t although it works with wifi after a secure connection procedures. Can also be hanged upside down with supplied bracket. App gives notification of any movement and stores data with pics & videos if you wish. I use it to monitor my pet but also have seen my friend using as a baby monitor.

Initially thought very good as indoor camera to mainly keep eye on dog/cats. Turned off notifications as kept notifying all the time. Picture quality good. Then this morning stopped working. Discovered it was USB adapter plug that came with camera. Plugged the USB cable directly into router and works OK. Not where I want it so now having to source another cable. Sheds doubt on overall Chinese quality.
