I pick my nails and this really helped with that addiction! They stay on so long. I recommend filing the nail before so they last longer!!

This was my first time trying to do my own dip manicure at home and it went pretty well. I’ve used three of the colors so far and all have been nice shades once on the nail however a couple of the colors are hard to differentiate between when they are in the jar (especially the blue and green). My first attempt ended up a little too thick (I did three coats of the color plus the bottom and top coats) but I think that had more to do with my technique than the powder itself.The second time around I tried just two coats of color and was careful to apply very thin coats of the liquid before dipping. I also only applied the first coat of color about 75% of the way down the nail based on some advice I read online. The results were much thinner and look pretty good although a couple places near the edges of my nails may have been a little too thin and became a little see though after sanding down before the top coat. I plan to go back and try 3 coats again just making sure to keep it thin and do the 75% trick on the first layer and see how it goes.So far nails have lasted pretty well without breaking or peeling off. The key to getting them to last is definitely to lightly sand the tops of your natural nails before applying the dip and to make sure they are 100% clean and dry using some rubbing alcohol before starting.

Ok so this is my third set of these so...let me tell you the good first. This stuff is amazing. It is the perfect thickness. It dries fast. And it’s super easy to use even if your a beginner. I’ve taught a few friends. Because it’s only two steps! It is extremely shiny when dry and it stays that way for weeks without needing a touch up!!The bad- the brush for the primer/top coat CONSTANTLY hardens. As in you can’t paint one full hand without a piece of the brush drying and gardening (I told you it dries fast) and when this happens it causes your coats to look very streaky. Sometimes you can replace the brush close the bottle and shake it for 30 mins or so and it will losses the clot but remember the hard piece will fall back into your bottle and eventually end up on a nail so be careful. Also- be extremely sure to not get any of the top coat on the rim of the bottle or that sucker will never come off again. It’s like super glue on crack.Originally I got these quite a bit cheaper but as there price goes up and quality goes down I’m not sure I will continue with this brand. With that being said it’s great for someone who doesn’t use it often.

This was my first time using dipping powder and this was the set of polishes I purchased to do the job. I liked that it was only going to be a three-step system. However, after working on 3 nails, I noticed the brush on bottle “0” started to clump up (harden). Soon, I was trying to apply the polish with a hard ball for a brush which did not allow for it to spread across my nail to apply the polish. I tried picking out the clump with my nail a bit and then I tried acetone. The acetone worked but not after destroying the brush. When I was finally able to resume working on my nails, I was able to complete two more nails until the brush clumped up again! I found this to be SUPER frustrating! I thought I’d return it for replacement as maybe I received a bad batch. It indicates that this item “is not eligible for return.” Now, I’m stuck with a bottle of stuff I can’t use and have to find another product to finish my nails! Ugh!

It is 100% possible that I am one of the very few women that will have “dip flu” from any product similar to these, but I cannot stress enough how unbelievably sick I became from using the activator in this set. Literally, both times I used it, I had less than an hour of sleep the following 2-3 nights because I was coughing, almost unbearably, around the clock. After years of perfect sleep, due to constant coughing and nasal drainage, from the 1st and 2nd applications (spaced 14 days apart), I literally went 47 consecutive nights without being able to sleep through a single night. Full-on severe flu-like symptoms for over a month.All that being said, the two times that I did use this set, my nails looked fantastic and it was very easy to use. I am giving it 5 stars because it worked as well as described, and after giving it to the friend that originally recommended the product to me 2 months ago, she has had zero complaints about it.

The media could not be loaded.  I don't always use dip top usually use gel top over my dip. These 2 manis I used just These 2 bottles of liquids and they are perfectly shiny and durable. Love how big these bottles are. They have nice brushes and that nice thing in the neck that helps keep the brush cleaner. Wipe your brush before putting back in the bottle every time and keep the threads clean and These will last you a long time for your $ tomicca liquids are my new go to when I'm out and need a bottle fast!

I got this because I'm trying to get gel polish to last a bit better, and I have thin flexible nails that I treat like tools. I didn't want to go the fake route, but this seemed like a happy medium. And it is. I also didn't want to buy a whole new system, so I used this with gel base and top that I already had and it worked fantastically. I tried 1 layer and 2 layers and the 2 layer is a bit thick for my taste, especially with polish on top, but I loved the one layer. It's super easy to use. I did have a chip in one nail on day two, not sure why, but it soaked off well, and the rest are pristine at day five and counting. I also filed down the surface to redo some polish design, and that went really well too. Pictures pre apply nails vs 2 coats & then over the gold leaf (but under the sparkle).

If I could do great job with this kit anyone can! Just follow instructions or you tube tutorial

I use this pink as my everyday colour. It's like a bubblegum pink but really doesn't seem too bright - that may change in the summer when my skin is a bit darker. Seems to hold up well (about 2 weeks when I do it myself)

I bought the totally white nail dip powder which I LOVE so I thought I'd buy the light pink one as well but the texture seems to be a bit different than the totally white one. It's a bin thinner, less durable, so I'm constantly finding myself having to re-apply when a nail breaks off. Doesn't seem as sturdy as the white one.
