Muy contento con la compra. Lo he usado en carretera a mas 100Km/h y ha trabajado perfectamente. Altamente recomendado.

400mile Road trip and still going strong
Skeptical at first since I had a road trip coming up that consisted of mainly highway speeds. On the way down I placed on the rods no reels (3 total) and after about 200miles at 75mph. Darn thing didn't go anywhere. Felt lazy on the way back up and kept the reels on thus time. The rod holder? Solid as a rock. I would say any reel larger than 5000 would maybe have trouble fitting.

pleasantly surprised
Very easy install. Suction cups seem to be very strong. Very versatile angles. I just wish there was a way to secure the loops underneath the rod supports so the loops canโt pop out, not that it has just for a little piece of mind. Overall I would buy again

Solid rod holder
So far so good. I put 3 poles on this a 9ft 10ft n 12 ft with a 4000 5500 n 6500 size reel. Iy was easy to set up. It has to be raised up for bigger reels. So u will be able to fit 4 surf rods.I got as fast as 60mph and if seemed fine just also check it before you head out. I did use small bungees over the top of their straps for extra measure to hold poles down. I am impressed for now and would recommend.

Not durable poor design. Not for spey rod weights.
SUMO suction rod mount is poorly made. The top screw that controls the arm worked a couple times before it required alot of tension to keep it in place. The suction cups need a completely flat surface. The use I got was two seasons, using it 4-5 times a season. I will not replace with the same manufacturer's product.

Some of the best money I ever spent
Some of the best money I ever spent. The suction cups work great as long as the surface is dry. Early morning dew should be wiped off completely before attaching to your car. These are ideal for anyone who owns a sedan or coupe and can't fit their rigs inside the cabin. Travelling 60+ MPH on winding roads, I had complete peace of mind and was never worried about my rig's safety. Great product, awesome solution to a bad problem.Only knock I would give it is it doesn't feel all that durable. I don't know if it's ABS plastic or not but if it is, it would be reassuring to know. That said, I don't baby gear and it's they've been holding up just fine.

anyone have luck with replacement parts
I like this product. I have used it for two years (average 3-4 trips per year). I dont take it on the highway because my 300$ rod and my brother's 400$ rod, I wouldn't trust to titanium.... Silly, I think to ask a rod holder to do that much resistance (inertia) Just break down the rod, guys!!!That being said I have emailed 3 times to inquire about replacing the "bungee" cord part with no response.I suppose I could buy a bungee and somehow attach some keyring anchors. Any ideas, my fellow fisherwomen?

They work really well once you clean the spot they attach to.
I accidentally got the suction model rather than the magnet model as I was suspicious of suction cups. I didn't have time to exchange them before the trip so I gave them a try. At first I thought I'd made a mistake because when I put them on the car they did not maintain their grip. But the car was dusty so I washed the cups on the unit and the surface of the car where they would attach. From that point on we used them for a week with three rods and speeds up to 60 mph on windy and hilly back roads in the Ozarks. They stayed on and caused no trouble. I'm happy I bought them and now even happy to have the non-magnet version since these will work on glass in case I ever need to use them on a different vehicle.
