Housmile Replacement 3-Layer Filter for Ridgid 3500 Wet/Dry Vacuums Compatible with Ridgid WD4050 3-4.5 Gallon Portable Vacuums

I recently received a small portable shop vac from a big box store with a note stating they no longer offered high-efficiency filters and provided a cheap thin walled filter. I immediately searched Amazon and ordered the housmile three layer high-efficiency filter. It’s a perfect fit, plenty of suction, will help keep the dust out of my house and garage as well as prolong the motor life and an excellent value.

Seems like a quality replacement for my 4 gal Ridgid Shop Vac

I bought this for my Ridgid 4 gallon 5 HP vacuum. Didnt want to pay $17 plus $1.50 or so on tax at home depot for the original filter. I think its way too much for a simple filter. So i found this one for $10 and gave it a shot. It fits perfect and it works fine. It doesnt feel very sturdy but its ok for its purpose. Just dont abuse it when u put it on or take it off and it should be just fine.

This filter will do the job since I am using it in the garage and the cars. However, unlike the real Ridgid filter this one is not as thick. Besides being visibly thinner the material does feel as though it will last long especially after I wash it. I washed the original filter a few times and it held its shape and filtering ability. I don’t think this filter will be the same after I wash it.

This filter works well in my Rigid wet vac and costs less than the brand-name filters.
