This washing machine is something I was looking for quite sometime and finally I couldn’t be more happier with this product. Hassle free noise free and dry free. This dries out the clothes 100% which means no more drying clothes out, also you don’t need a separate dryer. The Samsung washing machine is a game-changer! Its ecobubble technology ensures deep cleaning while being energy-efficient, and the 8kg capacity is perfect for my family’s needs. Quiet, reliable, and packed with smart features. Easy to operate no much complications. Once it’s done you’ll get to know until then you won’t even know the washing machine is on. Value for money, efficient and good quality with good packaging. For installation I would recommend to get it done by experts. I love it.

This is the worst washing machine I’ve ever purchased. From day one, it had extreme vibration, very loud noise, and shakes so badly that I can’t even use it properly. It feels nothing like a new product and performs terribly. For the price, I expected reliable quality, but this machine has been a huge disappointment. I do not recommend this product at all. Save your money and look for a better brand.

This washer/dryer combo completely dries clothes - they come out warm and fully dry. I couldn't find a straight answer about this anywhere in other reviews, which was incredibly frustrating. After getting tired from search fatigue trying to find a guaranteed answer about whether washer/dryers actually dry clothes properly, I took a chance on this Samsung machine (Model WD80TA046BX/GU). My Experience & Learning Curve: At first, clothes came out mostly dry but with some damp spots but that's because I only set the dryer for 30 minutes to 1 hour. After experimenting, 2 hours is the sweet spot for a drum that's 75-80% full. The clothes come out completely dry and warm. I've only had this machine for two days, so I can't speak to long-term durability, but so far I'm very satisfied with the results. 1) Settings & Operation: I select the "Daily Wash" program for mixed cotton/synthetic loads with these specific adjustments - Temperature: Changed from the 60°C preset to 30°C (first button on the left under the display). I learned from a YouTube video that higher temperatures cause clothes to shrink Rinse: Keep at 2 (second button, leave as preset) Spin: Keep at 1400 RPM (third button, leave as preset) Dry function: Press the button twice to get the t-shirt with timer symbol, then keep pressing to add drying time. I set it to 2 hours for optimal results. Pro tip: After your clothes finish washing and drying, partially open the washing machine door this somehow makes your clothes even drier and reduces the risk of mildew/mold buildup. 2) Detergent & Freshness: About fabric softener, I read fabric softener is bad for front loaders because it builds up in the machine, even though the manual says you can add it. From my research, I found these freshness beads from Downy called Downy Unstoppables - they sell them at Spinneys but you can also buy them on Amazon. You add a capful directly in the drum (not in the drawer) before you add the clothes, and your clothes come out smelling fresh. You could also throw in a laundry pod. For the drawer: I only add laundry liquid in the far left section. For detergent type, I read that HE detergent (the one with the HE logo which stands for High Efficiency) is best because it doesn't produce a lot of suds and machine build-up. I found this Attitude liquid laundry detergent on Amazon, it was the last piece available. It smells amazing and I love the packaging design, very clean with a penguin image. Never heard of this company before but love the simplicity. 3) Maintenance Notes: To maintain the machine, I did my research on this as well. If this is your first experience with front loader machines like me (I've only used top loaders before), you have to clean the rubber door gasket between uses as water and lint accumulate there. Make sure to wipe it down after every use or it will start to smell and potentially develop mold. 4) What I Can't Help With Energy consumption: I have no idea about the energy usage, so I can't provide detailed information there. Drying mechanism: I did my research on whether this uses condenser or heat pump technology when making my decision on which washer/dryer to get, but couldn't find information on the drying mechanism for this specific machine. I read heat pump takes longer to dry but is more energy efficient. This was another factor that made my decision harder, but as I said earlier, I just took a chance on this machine. 5) Bottom Line Very satisfied with this washer/dryer combo once I figured out the right settings. So far, I'm glad I took the chance despite not having all the technical details I wanted. The key takeaway: 2 hours for the dry cycle if you want completely dry clothes.

Washing machine is good. The dryer function is ok as it takes time to dry the clothes. It will show you almost 9 hours for one cycle of washing and drying. But it’s less then that. If you are using the separate dryer you may not like these washing/drying machine as it takes a lot time to dry up the clothes. I don’t know where all these small particles from clothes are storing up to clean the machine. Good for small family of 3. I would recommend you to buy separate dryer instead of washer/dryer. As it’s not that convenient as the cycle is very long. Plus it’s noisy more than usual machine.

I’m really happy with this Samsung washer dryer, honestly, it’s been my best purchase so far! Before buying, I had read some comments mentioning it was noisy, but in my experience, it’s actually very quiet, even during the spin cycle. I also added the Amazon installation service for just AED 54, and it was completely hassle-free. The team came on time, installed the machine quickly, and everything was up and running without any issues. I mostly use the Quick Wash option with the Add Dry button for 3 hours, and it works perfectly. Clothes come out clean and fully dry, even heavy items like jeans! Highly recommend this washer dryer if you’re looking for convenience, efficiency, and peace of mind!

Very bad quality, I’ve spent over half the price of this machine in the first 12 months on broken drum and pump issues.

Machine started leaking water in less than 25 days of purchase. Called Samsung, they asked for money first for the door gasket. After having a fight with them they fixed it for free but then steam started leaking in the electrical components. And Samsung said its normal and machine is fine but it was technician fault. then no body came to fix it again even after many calls and emails. No response from Samsung at all. Dont buy Samsung. In the end Amazon helped and returned the item as it was less than 30 days. Amazon is the best always buy from Amazon they are really protecting the customers. Imagine if I bought from normal shop I have to throw the new machine in garbage.

Had this six months now and it's become one of those appliances you just trust. The 8kg capacity handles big loads easily — I regularly put in full bedding and towels without any issues. The cleaning performance is genuinely impressive. Cotton cycle for towels and bed linen, Mixed Load when I've got different fabrics together — both deliver consistently good results. The EcoBubble technology makes a real difference too, washing effectively at lower temperatures which is kinder on fabrics and energy bills. It's quiet enough to run at night, which matters in a flat. The controls are intuitive once you spend a few minutes with them, and the little jingle when the cycle finishes is a nice touch. Cycles are on the longer side but that seems standard at this level. One genuinely useful thing to know about the drying function — there's a max fill line inside the drum. Go above it and clothes won't dry properly. Stay within it and the results are good. I tend to take delicate fabrics out before the dry cycle anyway, which the machine makes easy since you can run them separately. Looks great in graphite too. Highly recommended.

We bought this washer dryer to replace our old Candy Hoover that died - it made sense to buy it here. Even with the full fitting service and removal of the old washer included, it was still £100 cheaper than other retailers selling the same model (Fitting service was brilliant too). I’ve been dying to have a Samsung one for years as they always seemed so good! 100% lived up to expectations. I love the design, UI and the darkened drum cover. It has an 8kg drum, so it washes big items like double duvets and sofa blankets well. Items come out lovely and fresh after each wash, as it uses Samsung EcoBubble (from what I understand it activates the detergent before it hits the drum with water and air pressure to make it foam to clean clothes better). There are so many cycles to choose from, but my fav go to is the eco-wash, by default it’s 15 degrees temp for 15 mins, but I vary per washing case and also choose 20 or 30 degree for the temp making it go up to a 23 minute cycle (nice and quick still). I can then either choose to rinse and dry it or dry it solely if desired. To add if you just want a spin cycle without rinse - choose the eco 40-60 cycle then hold down the third button from the left until it beeps twice and the icon shows a spin only (I had to google for it). Never had a dryer before and it has been nothing short of amazing to have - benefitted so much already, being able to wash and dry our dog or guinea pigs items in a day is massive plus for us as those items like blankets and liners can take days to air dry - even with a heated clothes horse it still took ages. For the dryer so far I’ve been choosing the little T-shirt with timer icon and the selecting either 30 mins or an hour and it’s been drying it wonderfully! It comes out all soft and warm! The interface is explained well in the manual it came with - 5 columns; temp, wash level, spin level,drying choices and bubble soak. The dial has a nice little light feature too, to help show which cycle is currently selected. It even lists the cycles it needs to go through so you can see where the washer/dryer is up to. Worth noting too this sits at 52 decibels - it’s actually so so much quieter than our previous washer at 72 decibels. It plays a cute little tone when it comes on, or to let you know it’s finished, but this can be muted if you’d prefer. The components feel solid to interact with, the detergent drawer glides smoothly and you can feel the connect upon open and close. Buttons are tactile and the dial feels responsive. The door has a good weight to it where it sits open comfortably with a firm hinge and provides a satisfying clunk when it is opened and closed. Another big tick for us was that it came with the 5 year parts and labour warranty, which you have 90 days I believe it is to register for. For the price point and the fact it’s a washer dryer is nothing short of fantastic. Could not be happier with it!

Seems like a perfect machine, i have run a total of 4 cycles so far and found it to be easy to install, great in appearance, quiet, efficient and quick. But what could have been a 5 star review the poor installation process followed by Amazon's contractor took away a star from installation. Installing this machine might be the easiest of work, especially when it is replacing a previous machine, tap inlet, drain outlet, electrical connection and space all pre exist. . There are very simple steps involved (1) place the machine in place (2) connect the water inlet pipe (3) place the drain pipe in its place (4) connect the plug (5) switch on the machine to test all systems are working, (5) slide the machine into its final location (6) run the shortest cycle of 20 mins and leave! The two people team could not even do these steps in order, correctly or could communicate politely. First they connected the inlet pipe, slid the machine in its final location, pushed the drain pipe in place with total disregard to the part that is meant to loop the pipe into the drain inlet so that it does not bend or twist. They then switched on the 20 mins cycle and left like wind. Only for me to check and find out that the inlet was leaking and so had to run out to stop them from leaving and call them in to check the leak only to be confronted rudely with an argument that first 'the water must have been there from the previous machine' (I had removed it myself two days ago and cleaned the space for the new machine), 'your tap must have a leak' ( had thoroughly checked this with a paper towel two days ago to confirm there wasn't any), 'your tap must have excessive pressure' etc. all this argument without checking if they had installed the pipe incorrectly. They pushed out the running machine from its place, pulled out the drain pipe while the machine was still running and fiddled with the inlet. Meanwhile the drain cycle started and the guy holding the drain pipe moved around in panic as if dousing fire from a firehose! After much struggle and water everywhere, they eventually found out that the tap end was not screwed in correctly and tightly. They left only for me to finish the work - wipe clean the floor, place the parts Samsung expects to be fitted as part of the installation - drain pipe fitting that ensures the pipe does not get bend or crushed, stoppers that are required to be placed at the drum stopper holes. Poor installation process will potentially damage machines and result into bad machine reviews! Do remember to take back the DRUM STOPPER FIXTURES - 4 IN TOTAL - you will need these if you have to ever move, send back the machine. I had to struggle to get them from the installers!

I bought the Samsung Series 5 Washer Dryer and I am really happy with it. The design in graphite looks very modern and stylish in my kitchen. The 8kg wash / 5kg dry capacity is perfect for everyday family laundry. Clothes come out very clean thanks to the Ecobubble technology, even at lower temperatures, and it also helps save energy. Drying function works well for smaller loads, handy when I need things ready quickly. It runs very quiet, with only 54 decibels during washing, which is a big plus compared to my old machine. The spin speed at 1400 rpm gets clothes almost dry before I even use the drying cycle. The control panel is simple to use, with clear programs for cottons, mixed load, quick wash, and eco cycles. I like that it also has a self-cleaning function for the drum.

A year later it is still performing great. Most of winter we used the combined wash and dry programs overnight. Fantastic for our family of 4 with a very hairy dog.
