Longcils Boncza Cosmetique Cake Mascara 01 Noir

Wow, so glad I found this amazing product. I use one drop of sterile eye moisture drops and then take a clean yellow spoolie (disposable mascara wand) and make a little paste. The yellow allows me to see when I have the right amount. Then I apply a thin coat or keep applying to build up a thick coat, whichever I want. The clean side of the spoolie can be used to shape the lashes. I then toss the spoolie cause they are so cheap, or sometimes I rinse it clean and reuse. I have had no problems with flaking or smudging. The black is very rich but my lashes look natural with no clumps. I also no longer have irritated red eyes which I now realize was from using tube mascara, full of chemicals and bacteria. Only wish it hadn't taken me 40 years to discover this wonderful cosmetic.

So happy to find a cake mascara again. I love being able to apply many coats without clumping as it dries quickly. I have had to trim the applicator brush a bit to suit my lashes but that is a minor point. This product has an advantage of not drying out like others since it is already in dry form!

This has been my mascara of choice for about two years now. I have read that some people don't like the brush that comes with it and neither did I at first. Then I tried it again and have got used to it and find it makes my lashes lovely and thick. I dip the brush in a little cold water and shake off the excess. Then a few rubs on the cake. I make sure not to get it too wet as I find that makes my lashes clump together, so a little dryer seems to work best for me.I remove mine with lots of warm water and gentle fingers. This is the only mascara that doesn't make my eyes sore and itchy and I love that it comes off without those horrible removers. Lasts me about 6 months.

I'm giving only three stars, not because there's anything wrong with the mascara. The brush, however, is pretty useless in my opinion. The mascara is very soft - on the lashes - and the color was great. It does NOT make full, lengthy lashes. I ended up using a brush from an old mascara tube to make application easier. Goes on well, has a soft look. Not for hard-core dark, thick, lash lovers. I use it on weekends, usually.

Longcils Boncza Cosmetique Cake Mascara is a fine item to have on hand especially for special occasions. It is easy to use and since you control the consistency by the amount of water you mix it with it is easy to get the look you want. Using the cake mascara which you apply with a small brush (included) separates your lashes nicely and you control how much to put on. Your lashes look spectacular, full and lush. I use this mascara when I want to look my very best. It makes me feel like a million dollars. You quickly will become proficient in getting the exact look you want. I love the results I get with this product.

This is my second purchase of this and the trick is to finally get the hang of how to use it. Too much water verses too little water etc. I don't use it all the time but it really is better than most brush ones. Still can clump but sell a fan like brush to break up any clumps. Be careful to look in a good magnifying mirror to then gently remove all the tiny black dots that fall on your face. This can be done with a tiny bit of moisturizer on a pointed Q tip, which also sells on Amazon.Then you're good to go. Also blends false lashes with real ones for those with thing eyelashes. Only negative, unless I'm mistaken, they don't sell replacement brushes that comes with it separately.I wash mine gently after several uses but over time it should be replaced which means a whole new kit. Haven't checked online for something similar yet. Still needs to be same size though.

This works well with practice. Most commercial mascaras are way too goopy. Trying to "scrub"or remove them at night can damage lashes. This gives just enough definition and seems to last all day under most circumstances. It comes off with less effort. However this brush is too industrial. The ones that used to come with the older products were more refined. I briefly tried one of the little eyeshadow sponges and that might be an option for light application. Seemed better than the stiffer brush.Update. I recently went in Big Lots and found a pack of assorted small cosmetic brushes, eyebrow brush and comb and some short bristled items. Have used several and find they can work ok, especially the eyebrow brush. It is similar to the brush which comes with this only a bit smaller and finer. It is easier to use for more delicate application. More like the brushes that used to come with this type of cosmetic.

This is good mascara. Many of us are of course used to those mascara that will make your lashes look long and with great volume, honestly - unnatural. This mascara is good for 2 reasons: it's natural and you don't have to worry about putting on toxins every day, and second- once you learn how to apply it, your eyelashes will look nice and natural, and at the same time will give you great look. One advise - do not moisture the brush too much, use just a little bit of water, otherwise you will end up with wet-like skinny lushes and you'll hate it. Be patient. It took me a few times, but after that i like it a lot. One more thing- I use eyelash curler just before applying this mascara, and it makes it even greater. So if you are one of those who doesn't have perfect eyelashes, get a curler and believe me, it will make a huge difference. Good luck
