Penelope Vintage Women's 50s Retro Rockabilly Style High Waist Pinup Shorts (M, Green)

I am 5'5" and wear a 2X. These shorts were a perfect fit. They were long enough that I didn't have to worry about them riding up between my legs when I walked (you will need to pull them down if you go from a sitting to a standing position if your thighs touch - lol). I purchased the white shorts but if you compare it to the top I am wearing, the shorts are more of an off-white. I wore a bodysuit with these shorts and you are able to see the bodysuit outline through the shorts. The shorts are a stretchy material so they will show every curve, I would suggest a bodyshaper to streamline the look (f needed but don't downsize). I was happy with the look!

These stretch sooo much, which is any plus size girls greatest dream when finding cute shorts. Especially of the retro style. And the fabric is comfy. Plus it looks very flattering.

I just loved these and wanted to keep, but being older I felt like I needed a wee longer leg. Wish they came in two leg lengths. You can order a size down due to the elastic in the waist as mine were a bit bit big on me in the waist. I followed the size chart and ordered an XL. I'm a 32 in waist and a 40.5 in hips. These will be a bit hotter in summer as they are a Rayon/Poly type of material but look like a knit - meaning no shine/silky feel. Wish I could keep.

These are very cute from the front, but pics of me from behind....yikes! The high waistband makes your caboose look gigantic.

I love these shorts though I wish I had ordered one size smaller. They do shrink a little in the dryer so they didn’t feel too big but I still think I would have enjoyed one size down more. I am going to order another pair.
